Yes! My mini goal is to stop putting cream in my coffee! I figured that I use about 3 T of light cream per cup, twice a day. There are 30 calories in 1 T of light cream. That is 180 calories a day! Add that up over a year and its 1260 calories a week, 5400 calories a month, 64,800 calories a year. By eliminating this one indulgence, I can lose 18 lbs in one year! Its amazing what one indulgence can cost in weight gain!25

That one helped me a lot. For me, It was all about experimenting with different brands. I mostly drink coffee only black now, but it can't be just any coffee. Back when I was using a lot of cream and sugar it didn't matter if I actually like the way the coffee tasted because I couldn't taste it.8 -
3 lbs to get into the 140's.15

My mini goal was to lose 15lbs by the time I go to Vegas on august 10th. Since I was at 14.4 yesterday I think I've made that goal. Lol. Now my goal is just getting back to a normal routine. I had lost almost 90lbs. Put it back on after a bad back injury and depression. Finally starting to feel like myself again. Was given the ok to get back to yoga. It's a new start. Each day is a mini goal of small progress.15

Get into the "healthy" range in my BMI. I'm only .7 points away I think. I'm so excited. I only once before was in the healthy range, it was for 3 months in 2011.10

To get back into the bridesmaid dress I wore to my best friend's wedding four years ago. I've lost 25 lbs since this time last year. Tried the dress on this week and I can just barely zip it up but it is super tight. I've got another wedding to go to in just over a month--I want the dress to be looser and comfy!13

To shave a few seconds off my mile each time I run on the treadmill. Longer term is run a whole mile without stopping or having to walk.11

Getting out of obese and into overweight. 6 pounds to go.21
-
Getting out of the 140's forever! I'm so close!! Only 2 lbs to go until I see that 3 in the ten's place. Then the key will be to keep going DOWN, instead of bouncing up and down in a 6 lb range for another 3 months.11
-
Just to get under 300lbs. It's been at least 7 years since I've been under 300 lbs. I've lost 20# so far and got 12# more to go to get to 299lbs.24

I want to be out of the 150s on my vacation at the end of August (27 days, 3.8 lbs), and a healthy BMI by my first 5K in October (almost 3 months, 9 lbs).10

For reference: F/38/159cm (5'3"-ish). HW: 84kg (2005), SW: 70.2kg (this time... 1 July) , CW: 65.7kg, GW1: 63kg (healthy BMI)
I wanted to read ALL the mini-goals posts in this thread before posting. - Finally done! Its taken me over a month to get through 113 pages, but you guys have kept me inspired and helped to keep me on track. Have hit a few mini-goals of my own in the meantime...
1. 68kg - traditionally a 'barrier' weight for me - get a pedicure. Done
2. Run Melbourne 10Km in an hour or less - no special treat - Done! Completed in 59.07!
3. 66kg - no particular reason - get a Google Home. Done as of this morning!
4. 65.3kg - lowest recorded weight of 2016 - no special treat - 0.4kg to go!
5. 63.9kg - lowest recorded weight ever (2014) - get a pedicure - 1.8kg to go!
6. 63kg - Healthy BMI, have never been here in my adult life! - Super pretty running/multi-sport/smart watch - 2.7kg to go!
7. Melbourne half marathon in ideally 2hrs or less, will decide a bit further into training - 15th October.
The Google Home treat is a big one for me, I'm a mega tech-geek and have been wanting one since it was first announced by Google, but it only became available here about 2 weeks ago. Rather than just rushing out and buying it straight away I decided to make it a mini-goal treat, has definitely been pushing me this week! Cant wait to go shopping at lunch time!
I'm hoping to get to 63kg at least a couple of weeks before the half so that I have my watch (and am familiar with it) by race day.16 -
Mini goal: to drop 4 more pounds and reach THE GOAL that I started out with! Of course, I moved the goalposts on what the ultimate goal weight is, but getting down to 225 will still be an occasion for celebration for me.
I also have a new goal of completing C25K. Day one was yesterday, and it went much better than anticipated (and worlds better than my previous attempt from a year ago).14 -
To loose 15lbs this month. I'm 2 weeks in 8lbs down8
-
my wedding dress on 27th October and the honeymoon in Dubai three days later16

To get out of the 130s and into the 120s, even if it is 129!!!!12

August 2:Getting out of the 140's forever! I'm so close!! Only 2 lbs to go until I see that 3 in the ten's place. Then the key will be to keep going DOWN, instead of bouncing up and down in a 6 lb range for another 3 months.
I made it! 139.6 yesterday, kinda a binge last night with the chocolate chips and peanut butter. But only 139.8 this morning!!! Now to only go lower.
Next mini goal: 135. Top of my original weight goal range of 130-135. 4.8 lbs to go.

UPDATE: Reached normal BMI today31
