I made a one pot veggie pasta, had a serving, then went out to get a cupcake (because I don't keep sweets in the house.) I got halfway through the cupcake and then threw the rest away; it was too sweet to handle. That's a small victory, because before I would've snarfed it all down. To me, the fact that it didn't taste as good as I thought it would means my palate is readjusting/changing.
Congratulations on listening to your body rather than going ahead and eating it anyway!3 -
All of these goals are inspiring me!
Have three goals:
1. Get below 200
2. Get out of obese range and into overweight (accomplishing # 1 will also accomplish this)
3. Recover from a knee injury and start running again.

My mini goal is to get out of the overweight range. My current BMI is 26.5 and if I can get under a BMI of 25, I will be in the "normal range".7

Promised myself a spa entry and a shopping trip when I hit my next mini goal...and I need both just so much!!3
-
Hit 264 this morning. 20% of my start weight is gone. Probably go up again over the next couple of days (having sushi for lunch and I go overboard on soy sauce, so I will be up because of it), but I'm calling it a success.
Next goal is 257, which will put me in obese class I. So goal is 7 pounds by the end of Feb.
Got my eye on a new treadmill for home.12 -
Going into the 100s. I'm 7lbs short from being there. I was 5lbs short, but for some reason I've gained 2lbs this past week.5

My husband and I are going to Hawaii at the end of the month. I have lost 29.4 lbs in the past 6 months.. I am really trying to get to 180 by our departure date. I was 192 last weekend so I guess 12 lbs might be a bit much. Even 182 would be amazing! The problem, none of my "summer" clothes fit me. So I guess I will have to go shopping (darn it).8

New mini goal is to get under 185 lbs.
The last couple of weeks I have been bouncing around the high end of the 180s. I've been in sort of a bad mental state because of it. I just need to lose 2.4 lbs to get under 185 lbs and I think it would help me mentally a lot.5 -
My mini goal is the same every week: to lose 1.5 pounds. I stopped looking at the big number, and started focusing on just accomplishing that one small goal per week. It's been working magically, because I know that no matter what, I have to make that goal come Monday weigh-in. So if I've splurged a little, I work out a little harder. It's much more manageable and doable in such small increments!22

10 pounds by valentines = marathon love making session
...or so I hope...12 -
I have my first powerlifting meet on the 25th. That is motivating me and terrifying me at the same time.12

I made it to ONE-derland. WOOT!
Now progressing about 10lbs down to get from obese to overweight. Upped my calories so it might not go as fast as all my other losses, but it's my next big milestone!14 -
I want to break into the 160's so badly. I have been flirting with it for weeks now and I am so ready.6
-
My nearest goal is 11 Lbs away which is to arrive Onederland and break the 200 mark. My next one is to get to 189 Lbs which mean that I will be at half of my original body weight. I started at 378. My next goals are simple - the first to reach 174 Lbs which would mean I was just overweight and not obese any more. The next is 145 which would bring me to normal weight. Obviously I like to set mini goals for myself as it keeps me motivated.9

To get through this first week of MFP staying under calorie goal every day! (1440 per day). I'm on Day 4~10
-
To finally get into onederland, only 5 away!9
-
Onederland. I'm somewhere between 1-3 lbs. away.

Onderland seems to be a recurring theme, here... *sigh* 12 pounds, for me.9
-
Losing 15 by March 12th (the time change). I've lost 7 all ready since I set that goal and I just have 8 more pounds to go.4
