Started a couple weeks ago but really kicked it into gear this week. This is the first time I've posted. You're all so motivating. It's really nice to have a community of people going through the same thing. I was feeling pretty lonely through this experience.
Goal is to break 170 and fit into my favorite pair of pants again (probably around 155). Wish me luck!14 -
To get below 60kg. I'm 1kg away!!! It's been soooooo long since I last weighed <60kg.11

Mini goal: get lighter on my feet and keep improving on my calisthenics routine for more strength, flexibility, and overall agility, because I'm on my feet a lot at work.8
-
To finally hit 100lbs down. I've been stuck at 75-80 lbs down.... right now losing 25 lbs would but that goal!!!! I know I can do it if I stay consistent goal by the end of 2017!!13

I completed my everyday in the gym challenge for July. Now August plank every day; currently 2 minutes total but want to increase that. Longer term be able to do a proper push up... got a long way to go on that one, but I'll get there.8

I have a few goals:
- To hit 270 lbs in August (3 lbs to go)
- To hit 255 lbs by the end of the year
- To be consistent in my logging
- To start adding exercise, next week or sooner12 -
fitting BACK into my jeans. I've been slacking batdcoreover the summer and 14lbs has crept back on, so for now it's all about shaving off at least 10 to fit back into my expensive jeans!7

Set my goals according to the BMI chart. Looking at my final weight goal is too overwhelming so I printed the BMI chart for women and posted it on my fridge for inspiration. My first goal is to move from Obese to Overweight and then to Healthy Weight.

Doing the swim leg of a half Ironman as a part of a relay team with my trainer and another one of his clients on 9/23. Because my OA is so bad I truly cannot run unless my life depends on it so being allowed to compete at that distance is a dream come true.9

My mini goal is super mini. Make sure I loose 2 lbs a week. That rolls into a larger goal of 10 lbs. a month which in turn snowballs into 57 lbs. lost in 211 days. My first big goal- Onderland by Feb. 2018!! It's a chain of yes I'm pulling myself along everyday. lol 6 months is gonna happen either way. Might as well do something great with it!14

Would like to get back down in the 130s, as this is where I have felt good in the past, but also want to be able to climb a V4 at the climbing gym !6
-
I want to do pull ups again.
Not 20 like in High School but 10 maybe?
I used to love to climb (trees), so maybe some indoor wall climbing as well and then maybe trees again.
Nothing like sitting in a trre looking up at the sky.
Looks like the leaves are bristles on a brush and are actively painting the sky.14 -
Just added another mini goal. Fit into my jeans by Halloween. I'm going to need warmer clothes for winter and I'm not buying anything new unless it's sized down.10
-
After a rough 6 months were I didn't stick with things very well, my current mini-goal is to stick with the food/exercise plan for the month of August.
My second mini-goal is to get below my lowest weight this year, another 6 lbs. This is also about where I transition from overweight to healthy weight!8 -
I want to wear a sweater in the Fall without a 'fat roll' hanging over my jeans!19
-

My daughter is about to start school. Which means I should have the time I need to focus on me. So I should have no problem focusing for a few weeks. No excuses!8

March 1st I decided to change my lifestyle and really lose the weight once and for all. I started out at 214 and got down to 196 before I got depressed, lost motivation, and started slipping. Then, my mother passed away.
From June until October 23rd I gained back all but 3 of those pounds I lost started at 211 this time. I am down to 200.6 now and want to get down to 196 or below by the new year. It will put me back where I was finally and feel more like a true starting point.
I was 195.6 as of 12/25. I think there will only be a small loss on 1/1 or I will just end up maintaining, but still I made my goal. I am under 196!
Next mini goal is to get out of the 190s! Hopefully by the end of January.
189.4 as of this morning 1/14!
My next mini goal is to lose 10 lbs so I can get out of the 180s and no longer be obese just overweight.
Let's try for the first week in March? Will update when I reach it.
February and March were rough months for me. I recorded my first ever gain from week to week in January and by February my mind was just in a bad place.
I had been eating at a deficit for over three months at that point and the weight just wasn't moving the way it once did.
I got overwhelmed, I got complacent, and I just stopped tracking and going to the gym. I didn't really gain any weight (thank goodness) besides some water weight, but I didn't lose any weight either.
Two weeks ago I decided after weeks of saying I was going to get back on the horse to actually get back on the horse.
Finally reached 179.8 lbs today which means I am no longer obese. It didn't even hit me until I was out today clothes shopping that I have finally done it. I'm no longer obese.
Just wanted to update to encourage people who sometimes have a hard time. You'll get there even if it takes longer than you'll think. You'll get there.
So next mini goal. . .under 170. I'll update when I make it.
Drumroll please.
Ladies and gentlemen as of today I am finally under 170 lbs!
I started my journey on MFP back on October 23 at 211 lbs. My first real goal in my mind was to get to 170 lbs. I hadn't weighed 170 lbs since my freshman year of college. I have tried losing the weight many times, but every time I would lose some weight and then gain much, much more. Never, ever getting this low.
I never thought I would see the day again I was under 170 lbs. These last few weeks have been hard. So many days I felt like I was working and working for nothing, but this is proof that it does pay off eventually. I could cry I'm so happy.
So next goal is to make it under 160 lbs. Won't that be surreal.
As of this morning's weigh in, I am under 160 lbs.
I lied about being 160 lbs on my driver's license almost a decade ago now and never changed it nor ever reached that number. Now I'm under 160 lbs. Under it.
This means that I have lost over 50 pounds since I started trying to lose the weight this last time on October 23rd. I am also only 10 pounds or so away from a normal BMI now.
I never imagined I'd get here.
Next mini goal: get under 150 lbs which was my original ultimate weight loss goal and will give me a normal BMI and then we'll start working on vanity weight.20 -
Successfully do IF 16:8 for two weeks starting today! Gonna be hard drinking black coffee5

To get into the 120's. I'm at 130.6 right now. I never imagined a) that I would stick with this or b) that I would have a goal weight of 125.
Also, we just started back to school so I have another goal of finding some healthy go-to snacks to munch on. I have a bad habit of defaulting to snack machines and sodas while I'm there.

1) congratulations! That is awesome! We have the same goal weight, but I am currently stuck in the 140's, but that's mostly from this last week of PD!
2) we are back to school, too! I take 2 1-liter bottles of water with me, and I challenge myself. I have to have the first one gone by lunchtime, or I don't get to eat my lunch until it's finished. Yes, I have chugged half the bottle while my food was in the microwave. Lol. The second one, I have gone before I leave for home. With that much water, you generally don't have room, or time, to drink soda. Carrot sticks and grapes work great for me for the snacking. I generally try to stay away from it all together, but those are both low calorie, so I can have quite a few. Also, those big bags of life saver mints are pretty cheap, and you can suck on one of those for a while. A lot of times, that will curb my munchies cravings. Or the hard Jolly Ranchers and Werther's Origionals work great, too. About 23 calories each, and 3/4 of the way through the day, I sometimes need a little bit of sweet to deal with some of the little darlings. Lol. I have 7th - 12th grades. Some of them are stressful!6 -
Wednesday (8/16/17) is our 20th Wedding Anniversary. . .I am .8 pounds from weighing what I did on our wedding day. That's my current "mini" goal and will be about a 50 pound loss from my highest weight in the past 20 years. I can definitely do this!16
