This morning I was Finnnnnaaalllllyyyyy in ONEDERLAND. 199.2! Been working on this goal is October. It's been slow and I lost a bunch of inches without the scale moving much but it feels good to make it!!!
Next goals:
196.7 - 30% of my body weight lost!
191 - 90lbs lost!
179 - move out of the obese category and into overweight!!!
Non-weight related:
Finish my 30 day plank challenge with my friend (we only have 4 days left)
Start wall sit challenge with same friend
Keep doing my strength training exercises!
Edited for spelling.15 -
Yay, one goal accomplished -
Have three goals:
1. Get below 200
2. Get out of obese range and into overweight: 2/4/17 - just barely snuck in under the line but I will take it!
3. Recover from a knee injury and start running again.11 -
My first goal is to lose 15 pounds out of a total of 59. I am 2 pounds away. And it will be 1 pound under 200.12
-
Next goal is obese class I, BMI under 35. About 6 pounds to go. I've been 2 days at over 20% of my starting weight gone so that one is sticking.11

Last year, he pretended to be excited that I had lost 8 lbs between January 2015 and December 2015. I weighed 234 at the end of December 2015, and my goal is to get down to 184 by my January 11 2017 appointment. That would be a 50-lb loss and I think he would be excited for real! I'm at 192-193 today, normally losing 1.5 to 2lbs / week so I think 8 lbs in 6 weeks is do-able.
UPDATE:
Well, I got down to 185 according to his scale but 182 according to mine. He was still happy that I lost 49 lbs over the year. Then he asked what my goal weight is. I told him 150, possibly down to 140. He told me to try for 135, and that anything over 150 at my height (5 ft 5") is still too much. My bubble of happiness has temporarily burst. He gave me a year to do it, so I'll reset some mini goals after I recover from the gut-punch. So my next goal is to get rid of all my size 16 pants and XXL tops and fit into all size 14 jeans and Large tops. That should happen within 6 weeks, when all the stores start bringing out the cute spring clothes.
Oh my god! Way to go! I think it's great that he not only supports your loss, but knows you're strong enough to go even further!
Can I ask, what kind of build do you have? I've always thought I had a medium build, at 5'5" also, so it's interesting to see 130 as standard.
Sorry - just now seeing this! My build is kinda strange, but allover it probably averages to "Average" build. My wrists and ankles are small, but my shoulders are HUGE. Really, I can see the bones and muscles through the skin so they won't get much smaller. And my arm, back, leg, etc. muscles are really large for a woman. If I hadn't gone off the rails and got fat, I probably could have been a pro bodybuilder. I'm not sure if the doctor realizes this, so I'll get down to 140 and see how I look and feel, and then think about 135-130ish.
My new mini-goal is to get to 165 by Easter. Today I weighed in at 178 so 13 lbs in 10 weeks is reachable. And I did meet my goal of chucking the Size 16's and now I fit into all of my Size 14's. Yay! I have no idea how to gauge weight / sizes so maybe I can fit into some 12's at 165?5 -
Mini goals: 1.) Drop 3-5% body fat and 2.) Get happy results on my next cholesterol screening in May.3

My husband has NEVER experienced a weight problem. Currently I wouldn't dream of telling him how much I weigh. My mini goal is to not feel embarrassed for him to see the scale.14

I'm 10lbs away from deadlifting 300lbs. I hope to do that and squat 250 by March 25.14

I have been struggling majorly to get some consistency. I tend to fail after four days. Every. Time. So, my goal isn't just mini - it's teeny - but it is to nail ten consecutive days of tracking, staying under my calorie goals and being active in some way. Hopefully that will help to lay the foundation for the bigger picture!19

I think that's a really good idea - your struggle certainly chimes with mine - I keep ditching my progress lately at weekends, so I need also to stick to my goals moe consistlently. Let me know how you get on! I'll be trying for the same, 10 days in a row on track.5 -
Being consistent by making it to gym 3 times a week not matter what happens to my schedule, I have a trip in mid march to Florida which will involve pool and bathing suit....ugh5

192 by March 19, my 12 year anniversary. I have been stuck too long not moving. Of course this morning after getting some additional motivation, new plan I was up an additional 3 pounds, that I'm REALLY hoping is water weight from to junk food the last few days.2
