What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I weigh 145.7 as of this morning (well the past 3 mornings) and since my period just started that's likely accurate. I'm also 7lbs from 50lbs down. Next goal is probably both 140 and 50lbs down in rapid succession (lol). Then stop and assess a little. Suspect my goal weight is going to be 135ish.
Completely, completely confused to be here and continually torn on what I want to do. I'm not NOT content with my weight now, but I'd like a little more space between my weight and being back in the overweight BMI. I'm also just kind of confused to be here, tbh.8 -

I'm not sure I want to decrease what I eat as I get quite hungry before meals and on a couple occasions I did feel a bit dizzy..
I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged. Keep it up and you'll get there! Along with others, I've found that MFP overestimates the calories I burn while exercising. If I want to lose weight, I can't eat back my exercise calories. I've also found that feeling hungry at first is part of the process while I reset my internal hunger meter. After several months of tracking diligently and eating my calorie goal, I've found my body more reliably tells me when I NEED to eat versus when I WANT to eat.
I wish you the best of luck on your journey!
I was starting to wonder about the recommended calories intake being too high including exercice calories. (and yes I do estimate by weight and not volume of food).
At least I stopped the upward weight curve, and that is a good sign
I continue to walk each day, and I've picked up again on some online fitness sessions I like. 30 min each because I do not want to over burn myself. Mini goals, with a long term goal.
I've been there already in the past, but now I cannot continue the high energy expense of running and tennis because of the injuries that sorta wrecked a knee and an ankle. Add full menopause and there you have it. I need to adjust to these newish conditions, at least in my head.
Cheers !

To be back in the 130s! I'm 146 right now. Fell off the wagon for about a month7

I only weigh in weekly and despite watching my diet and calories (eating good for me food), and actually putting forth REAL effort exercising, last week I only lost .8 lb. Feeling disappointed, I kept going this week with good diet and exercise routines, and ended the week yesterday by digging a garden and burning a mountain of calories. The scale this a.m. was down 2.6 lbs. I'm over 60 yrs - I can do this!20

My 2nd Wedding Gown fitting is June 15th! 2nd Wedding is July 31st.
Ordered my gown the weekend everything started closing in 2020. Finally picked up Jan 2021. It didn't zip; had about 2 inches to go. At my 1st Fitting at the end of April, it zipped! But was still a tiny bit snug. My seamstress is awesome and said no matter, she will make it perfect. But I really would like for her to have to take it in rather than letting it out.11 -
Currently I weigh 203 lbs, I'm focused on losing the next 4 lbs until I weigh 199 lbs haven't been under 200 lbs in at least a decade.17

To fit in a really cute pair of flowery capri workout leggings I own. I ordered the right size but this brand evidently ri s small. Especially with it getting hotter, I need more options for cooler workout attire.10

Lost 12 lbs and a few more to go until I am back to the weight I was before stay-at-home days began! (3 months of logging food, moving more, no alcohol.)11

I have less than 3Kg to go before I reach my previous adult lowest weight. I would love to reach said goal by end of July, as, if everything goes well, I will then be on a plane to a new country and new beginning.6

My weight hasn’t budged for over 2 weeks. After losing 8 pounds it’s hovering just over the 170 lb mark. My mini goal is to see that number in the 160’s. I know I can do it. It’s just a matter of sticking with it and waiting!11

To be out of the 200's11

to do my workout in two parts, one in the morning and one in the evening, so increasing the length of time per day6

I am going to cautiously start outside socialization by going to a party for Pride in June. I'd like to be lighter and stronger than when they saw me last. (I'm also single now so that will get more comments than anything else.)5

Goal met this morning! New mini-goal is 245.17 -
After meeting my 105kg trend today, my next goal is to get my trend to 99.9kg, hopefully by my birthday in August, but I'll be ok if it takes longer.
Not only will it be down to 2 digits, but it will take me out of morbidly obese and is the weight I need to get to to start horse riding lessons (Though to be nicer to the horse, I'll probably wait longer).14 -

Me: I'm half-heartedly losing and focusing on me being active.
Yeah. I'm down a pound and a half in the last week. Time to play 'what is maintenance' games because that was not it.4 -
To get into the "overweight" BMI category, instead of being "obese." Only 6 more pounds to go!!! Getting there is going to feel so amazing!16

I have lots of mini goals. My 'big' mini goal is that I booked a cruise for November and I would like to be at 175 or lower by then. I'm currently at around 200 lbs and I'm aiming for a loss of around 5 pounds a month or a pound a week. I think that's reasonable and it would put me at 170 by the end of November. If I lose more, then I'll be thrilled but, if I stall a few weeks/months and lose less, then that's fine too as long as I tried my best. My next mini goal is to get to 195 or lower by the end of June. I'm sticking to the lower end of my calorie range (1200-1500) five days a week and the other two days, I go to the upper end of my calorie range but I try not to go over. I'm also walking 10K steps 4-5 days a week. So far, it's been working as I started in April at 210 pounds so I lost around 10 pounds my first month and a half. I'm motivated to keep going. I really want to wear a cute swimsuit on the beach for my vacation.8

It might be worth recognising that a loss of 0.8 lb per week is a really good rate of loss. If you lose at that rate consistently, then that adds up to 3.2 lbs per month.6
