I know I'm here to lose weight, make friends from everywhere and if I happen to meet the right guy then so be it, but this site is another form of rejection for me when it comes to "dating" it's not the best.0

Ditto!!
I don't see anything wrong with making attractive friends. If that motivates you then go for it. If it makes you feel better to find ugly ones, great! Do yo' thang!! It also helps pass a boring work day!0 -
I'm spoken for, but I've been flirted with a bit on this site. I like it. It's nice to be reminded that other people might think you are pretty or attractive in some way. It's hard to trust what our significant others say about our looks, because they're required somewhere in the marriage contract not to tell you that you're anything but beautiful. Maybe they really do see your heart and always see the same beauty no matter what you look on the outside. BUT I think everyone wants to be attractive and are hoping to feel more attractive doing what we're doing on here... I think being validated in that way can be good for someones self esteem, even if it's playful, silly, or even excessively flattering on the 1-10 scoring. It made me sad seeing the elitist commentary about that... who cares? If someone leaves that thread feeling better about themselves, why do you want them to feel less than that? Do you think that if someone who is CLEARLY a 4 to you walks out their door feeling like an 8 (or GOD FORBID A 10), that it decreases your value as a person or your attractiveness? I don't understand. Are we just making fun of others to feel better about ourselves?
The OP is a gorgeous woman, would be gorgeous whatever size she is. When she loses the excess weight, I think she's going to look a lot like Katherine Heigl. I give her a 10.

I just want to get fit, work at reaching my goals, get motivated, find the right workout, track my calories, and be somebody's bad decision. That's it!0

lol good luck friend! What if you turn out to be someones good decision? I just want to get fit, reach my goals, stay motivated, (I want to WANT to track my calories), and run some races, climb some mountains, pull my self up over a bar a few times, push myself off the ground a bunch, shop where I want to shop, but I'll probably compliment strangers on an internet forum in the interim because I like pointing out the good in others during my down time.0
