    Only 1.0 Mile Thursday. We encountered a broken water line so had too help husband.....ughhhhhhhh
    Today 3.0 Walking MIles in two separate walks... I'm really just BEHIND!

    Ok, I have a little medical issue to deal with at the moment and I had a back injury last week... So, lets just say, things could go better :D

    BUT today I was back to the gym and exercises and it felt great! I most likely won't make my goal for this month but as long as I keep going it's ok !


    13th- 25 minutes running, 20 minutes circuit training, 20 minutes bodyweight exercises
    14th- 25 minutes running
    15th- 90 minutes bodyweight + dumbbells exercices
    16th- 60 minutes elliptical
    17th- 90 minutes strength, 45 minutes elliptical
    27th- 20 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes running, 15 minutes bodyweight ecercises

    Total: 425 / 650 mins
    Remaining: 225 mins

    Yesterday was a glorious, sunny day. TWO walks with my best girls! Total yesterday 4.5 walking miles!!!!

    So my total has reached 915 mins - substantially adrift from my 1500 mins target, but this is not laziness (honest!!) it is a mixture of my own health issues, and those of my family. I won't bore you...

    So next month I will set the target differently....somehow find something that reflects how many 'regular' seasons have I completed, how much 'stretch activity' have I managed, how many days were lost to ill-health and on how many poor health days did I manage to squeeze atleast a little something in (like today). I will also count 'everyday activity' (walking kid to school type stuff).

    My overall goal is to increase the activity when I can...not berate myself for when I cant. I regained weight through inactivity due to ill health...and I want to be more active overall, as well as be fit. I am a reasonably fit agin, but not yet active enough.

    Feb 20 - 46.9 km (148 min) cycling. Actually, it was a lot longer than 148 min, but I entered that to get a realistic calorie amount.

    On this day, my husband and I accomplished one of the goals that has been on my list since we arrived in Tasmania. We cycled up kunanyi/Mt Wellington!!

    We started in a location about 2 metres above sea level ... and cycled up and up and up until 24 km later, we reached the top at an elevation of 1271 metres (4170 feet).

    Just a quick run up the cycleway and back into Salamanca because we were the Final Control volunteers for the Tour de Tasmanie: *Tour de Tas

    My whole office (several departments) moved from one building to another, so I'm getting settled in and adjusting to the new stair situation.

    well done everyone!!! @SteveCro and @bigroastdinner I think you should up your targets for next month!!!

    Me this month -

    walking miles 62.75 out of 50 - over and above the goal!!!
    cycling - 14/40 - but only had one chance to get on the bike this month due to miserably raining weekends
    dancing - 14 out of 10 hours dancing - and that having missed most of my usual classes (a weekend of workshops helped!!

    Am going to look closely at my targets for next month. Want to get back on the bike and smash that target for sure, once the clocks change I can nip out in the evenings a bit. Oh, and there is the small matter of an obstacle race halfway through the month, meaning I'll probably be broken for the week after!!!

    Ooh forgot it was a leap year - and I went swimming today. So in the end it was 990mins total for me.

    My doodles for my March target:

    Usual base excercise 2 x a week swim /walk - 75 mins x 2 x 4wks = 600
    Usual base activity 1 x school run - 20 x 1x 4 = 80
    Usual base activity 1 x meeting in town - 30 x 4 = 120

    (As Parents/body allows...)

    Min: 'stretch' activity - 1 x 75 x 4 = 300 = eg one long walk
    Goal: 'stretch' - 80 walk x 1 x 4, 2 x 30 x4, 10 x 1x 4 = ie min 30 a day every day, and one long walk a week = 600

    (As Parents/body allows. Max Stretch goal assumes 28 days with activity, even if just 30 mins. Usual 14.)

    Goal: usual = 800
    Goal: stretch = 300 to 600

    1400 max.

    Yesterday I actually DID get in 4.0 Walking Miles in-between Church service and visitation of friend..

    Today was a gorgeous, sunny, warm day! I got in 4.0 Walking miles with my girls. Then I raked my yard. That gave me another 2.0 walking miles at a slower rate BUT it was quite a work out raking!

    @ girlinahat- I will, just changed my focus this year to ride as much as I could outside. Jan. and Feb. here in Indiana is very unstable weather wise. Wasn't sure just how dedicated I could stay. Most of the rides were at 30*F or under. I have never committed to ride like that. March now sees much warming but usually is our windy month.

    All have done so well and hope to see all in March thread!!!
