Today was cool but sunny. We DID get in 3.0 Walking Miles. Wanted too do a bit on the exercise bike but I am having some low back discomfort. May be because I've just started the bike back but I dont know...Think I'll wait and see what tomorrow brings Bike wise...

1st - 25 mins; Bicycle (7.2km) + 60 mins Zumba = 85 mins
2nd - 33 'active mins'; Walking
3rd - 54 mins; Zumba
6th - 26 mins; Bicycle (6.4km) + 65 mins; Zumba + 16 mins; Walking = 107
Total - 279 / 1,250 mins
Remaining - 971 mins0 -
I wil go for 150 again this month
2/1 - 21.42 miles, 1092 calories, 98.25 min.
2/4 - 15.55 miles, 784 calories, 77.35 min.
2/5 - 9.65 miles, 518 calories, 46.11 min.
2/6 - 9.13 miles, 18,269 steps, all day helping my son move
2/7 - 16.18 miles, 867 calories, 82.35 min.
Totals- Feb. miles-62.8 bike, 9.13 walked, 3261 calories, 304.06 minutes
Jan. miles - 170.5 biked
Jan. miles - 61.40 walked
Total for 2016- 233.30 bike

been a bit slack on the gym front so far this month, couldn't quite make it out of bed this morning, and now we are being battered by gale force winds - am not feeling like doing much except for getting from work back home this evening!!!
Had a great weekend, despite being drenched on the streets of Bath as some friends and I went shopping for shoes, then out at a Fashion Show in the evening. A bit of fun and different entertainment!!!
So far this month 16.5 walking miles or thereabouts.

Quiter than I hoped over the weekend - family stuff.... But 35 mins in the pool and a walk there and back - a usual for me activity, not the 'stretch' part of the goal.
Now at 240 mins towards the 1500 goal.
Need to be doing more here!! Well done everyone for the effort so far..... (Pay attention Steve, don't let us distant you!!)0 -

We have had SNOW. It is still snowing. Also we've had some problems today that required a lot of phone work, computer work. I guess the only exercise today was for my fingers and my voice! ughhhhhhhhhhh

May not be snowing here but my is it stormy... Just checked the forecast and now plan a good long walk Thursday when the sun is back. So I'm not sure if it's a cloudy, blustery long walk or a thoroughly wet swim tomorrow...
Or perhaps I should get the bike out again, now there is an idea. Mmm, I will now try to get to sleep pondering which cycle ride to go for....0 -

Today has all been about stairs for me. Once again I failed to go to the gym, I've just been so tired and lacking motivation, plus my diet is all over the place (I'm not eating enough - I'm trying to find a balance between managing enough of a deficit that if I go over a couple of days it won't matter, and having enough food that I have energy to do stuff. I'm not doing too well at that but it's a learning process.)
BUT, by not going to the gym I had the energy for the stairs. I climbed to the top of the tower at Tewkesbury Abbey, then down again, then back up to the belfry to check some measurements, then down and back up some other stairs, creeping round in the bowels of the church climbing over the roof timbers, up stairs which led to brick walls, through doors which led to who knows where. I crossed the Devil's Bridge twice, and up above chapels and out onto the nave roof, up over the lead and to the other side. There were A LOT of stairs. And a lot of dead bodies*
dance class tonight, but it's Blues so is gentle.
*the local Peregrine is a bit messy!!!0 -

Bike challenge (albeit longer!) accepted Steve - but now need to wait til half term prob.
Girlina... May i suggest you ease off the calorie restriction. No need to make yourself feel rubbish, and a gentler approach might be more sustainable - tortoise and hare and all that. Fab stair climbing, in a great location.... !!0 -
@gentlygently - I agree, I just want to make sure I have SOME deficit at the end of the week!! I don't actually feel like I'm not eating enough, but my body seems to be telling me it needs something more.
