Welcome to our February Cycling Thread! If you are new to posting on this thread, or if you are new to cycling, We welcome you! If you are returning from a previous thread, We welcome you, too.
This thread is for anyone who rides a bike. Do you bike to work? Do you pull your children to the park? So you ride weekends? Do you spin, at home or the gym? Or, are you just starting out and remembering how much fun you had biking when you were a kid? However you choose to push your pedal, you are welcome on this thread.
There are no rules to how or what you post. You may post miles, minutes, # of rides, what the scenery looks like, anything. Whatever will motivates you to get on your bike.

I am going to go for 100 miles this month.
I am heading out of the country for most of the month and don't think it will be a terribly bike heavy month for me. As a side -- my first ride this month will make it my 12th straight month of riding which is a first for me. Living in MN we can have some wicked winters and its been a lot of fun this year learning how to ride in the colder weather. I have also been fortunate to have some really nice weather (a lot of 5f-20f degree days) this winter.0 -
This is my first time doing this challenge. Recently I bought a stationary bike for inside as I really missed not riding my bike during the winter months. I am going to try and ride 250 km this month0

I'm in again, I'll go for 500 km this month. Hopefully monsoon season ends soon as the winds here are getting dangerous and I can't do the coastal routes so on heavily trafficked inland roads.

Well, since February is no more stable weather wise than January is here in Arkansas, no firm commitment from me. I just do what I can outdoors, and fill in with the stationary bike.

I'm in again. I enjoyed January's challenge and found it really interesting to count up my km's and see how far I cycled. I did 331km in January so I'm on for 400km in February.

I'm in. Just bought a fat tire bike yesterday. Wow, just wow. It's a beast, climbs anything. I've got a lot to learn on it, but I just can't stop smiling when I ride that thing! Also do the stationary at the gym. Hopefully in for 150 miles this month.0

I did a 200 km randonnee on Jan 30th and haven't been back on my bicycle since. That's partly because I'm recovering and partly because I've been very busy since then. But I should commence riding again soon.
