I see you're 18 years old. Would you have a problem telling your parents what you do for work? Any of your siblings? If you do, then it may not be for you.
Also, "wear really cute clothes"? Do strippers actually wear clothes?
Edit: You should probably just get a job at Hooters or Twin Peaks.
Yes my parents know I have also gotten permission from them to be a stripper for money for college I just have to be classy and yes classy ones do
I see an oxymoron in there somewhere....do your parents actually know what's involved in "stripping while keeping it classy??"
That's not a "stripper". That's a "dancer"....they have "topless" clubs...they have go-go clubs...then they have "strip" clubs. Strippers Strip. Hence the title. Some may feel classy, but in the end, you are taking off your clothes and showing your boobs to a bunch of "usually" old men who's wives think they are at work...lol. NOT JUDGING! Just sayin...8 -

Well obviously I'd strip just not down to nothing. I'd keep some things on
I think you have pole dancing and a stripper confused.. Pole dancing is an art of performance originated from China where you wear very little clothing so you can use your skin to aid you doing complex tricks on the pole. You don't take off your clothes.
Stripping is where you take of clothes and the main focus is on the naked body, not the technical aspect of the pole dancing and it doesn't really matter how well you can pole dance.. as long as you end up naked on the stage.
Pole dancing and stripping are two very different things since pole dancers tend to be athletes but not stripper..
Here's a pole dancer performing in a competition.. She's an athlete, not a stripper.

Right?
In for fantasy level job expectations.
Some realities: cocaine, heroin, "encouraged" prostitution, physical abuse, and human trafficking. And those are at the "classy" places. As you get older, more addicted, deeper in debt, and more desperate the limitations disappear.
The "idea" may be appealing. Getting paid a lot to have fun with attractive, respectful (and definitely not grabby) rich men who see that you're working your way through medical school and respect your life choices . .6 -
So you want to work in a bikini club then? Do you really want to dance in a bikini behind a bar while Toothless Larry gets hammered?5

You would be (I'm sure) the exception, but an environment like that can rub off on you.
So practically the same as most places of employment...Oh wait I meant practically the whole planet.

I don't have that environment, neither does anyone I know that I can think of...sure, there's loads of "office politics", but crack, heroin, prostitution, rape, human trafficking, none of those things happen in our work environments. Does it happen in yours? What do you do for a living?5 -

wtf
i want my money back
Down to that level
If this is as far as you're willing to strip, just get a boy/girlfriend to throw money at you.
The strip clubs I've been in have the strippers go down to their panties, heels, and a garter for the cash. If you're not willing to show your boobs, find another line of work.8 -
The job itself, not an issue. For most it's likely the the environment. There are dives and there are clubs that have strict rules. Where they work could have an effect on how they live. The other I would guess would be personal safety. IMO, because of some peoples moral values, if a stripper was known outside of their job and had issues with "adorers" following them around or harassing them, or even being serviced by others, it's been my experience that they aren't taken seriously.

Thank you.
Even a nicer club is going to involve constant flirting from strangers.3 -

A story in the Dallas paper interviewed a woman who was a stripper in Jack Ruby's club back in 1963. She got into stripping to supplement her husbands thieving income. Her husband was the best safe-cracker in the county. She wondered if stripping was bad so she asked her priest. He cogitated a while then asked if she was having sex with the customers. She said "No". He concluded that not only was she free to do it, he was free to come watch her show.2 -

all true and but you need to be super hot to get a job at the nicer clubs. i can't really tell whats up from the op's head shot in her pp. maybe if she posted some full body shots we could tell her if she's hot enough to work at one of those good strip clubs.

My daughter managed to put herself through nursing school, and kept her clothes on doing it. She was able to graduate with her dignity in tact...you do not have to resort to stripping to get through school. As a parent, I would no way in hell support my daughter stripping just to avoid student loans....8

After reading more of the comments, I'm convinced.
You should REALLY just work at Hooter's.14 -

Yeah, pretty sure if you can't handle being flirted with you're going to have a tough time sitting in some dude's lap in your thong panties, grinding your *kitten* and crotch all over him and putting your boobs in his face so that he can go home and spank it later.11 -
Follow your dreams. Your life is what you make it. Bad and Good are arbitrary.2

inevitable when someone is actually so naive to think that right and wrong are arbitrary.1
