My pleasure. For me, it does help that my wife has joined me. However, I would still be on the same path, even if she hadn't. I travel a lot, so I'm pretty much on my own half the time anyway.
You can all do this. I've watched my wife get frustrated to the point she wants to quit, but she's already lost around 30 lbs., so it is definitely working for her. She gets mad, because she doesn't lose the weight as fast as me. However, she keeps moving in the right direction.
It really is a mindset... Good luck everyone.1 -

Well I'm back from my trip home and soooo looking forward to getting back to my routine with food and exercise. Managed to put on 2kg in 3 weeks!! Wouldn't have thought it possible but there you go. I'm not too worried as I think it should come off pretty quickly once I get back into the swing of things - would love to be back down to 63kg by the end of the challenge.

I have been putting off posting my Monday weigh in ... hoping that it will just go away.
Guess that never happens, right?
So, here it is.
I have another gain.
And I KNOW why.
I UNDERSTAND what I need to do to stay on track.
But some weeks, I just can't do it. As hard as I try, and as hard as I would love to be, I just cannot eat perfect all the time.
And what happens when I eat over my daily target - even by only 200 calories?
I gain.
And like I said - I KNOW THIS.
But I continue to struggle anyway.
Ugh.
Well, here is to staying on track this week - and posting my results on Monday, regardless of how ugly they are.
I still have two weeks!

I went to a dietitian for help getting over plateaus, which I have experienced twice in this journey and have seen too often in past attempts to lose weight. I was pretty nervous about it but got support from some of you. I was afraid it would be a visit to the "diet police" but boy was I wrong. She was wonderful. She emphasized what I was doing right, which was quite a lot, and let me tell her what I thought I could improve, with which she concurred. I was not eating enough and was making a big mistake by only eating fruit for snacks when I should have been including a fat and a protein each time I eat. I am also not drinking enough water which is actually harder to do than I thought. I asked her if she owned stock in Charmin! Anyway, I am eating lots more food and have lost three pounds. She knows her stuff and I am sooooo glad I went. Nothing beats success!3 -

Hey the healthy recommendation is to always to keep your calories above 1200. Instead try tightening up your logging - make sure you weigh and log absolutely everything. Be patient and have faith that this works! Some times it just takes a while for the scale to register your efforts. Hang in there5 -
