So HAPPY too see you guys hanging in there! This is such a busy time for my husband and me. So much we have too do since he has retired. Things that MUST get done around this house. We do all the work we can ourselves as that is exercise as well AND it cost a fortune too pay someone too paint etc. We've been working solid and are about too see some light at the end of the tunnel! lol.....We still get our daily walk in before we start.

@girlinahat Mini triathlons are usually around 1/4 mile swims, 14-15 miles cycling, and a 5k...all in all it is about a 2 hour workout +/-0

10 July - lazy day. V tired from all the fun and excercise yesterday....and an awful lot of tennis, cycling and footie to watch. I am not really a big sport watcher, but Wimbledon and Tour de France are both so involving..

11/12 July - more 'lazy' days. Had visitors and a bit under par health wise too so that has sapped a lot of everyday energy (and time). Not so good for the chronic fatigue energy pacing..(but a lot of fun to see my friends). Hope to get back in the straight and narrow soon.

I've had a run-in with food poisoning on the weekend, and then an allergic reaction to a course of antibiotics my dr put me on (not related to the food poisoning). These things have left me feeling quite weak and lethargic. In fact, for several hours yesterday my fingers on both hands went numb while the palms were cramping and very painful ... and my tongue went numb as well. That was a little bit alarming!
But today I feel some better.

We went up north for a 3-day weekend and were intending to do 3 days of cycling, but the weather had different plans. It's winter here and very wet, cold, and unpredictable. But we did get one good ride in!

My work is sponsoring a lifestyle challenge to increase our exercise. I received a certificate for walking 500 miles during the second quarter of the year. I don't know if I would have accomplished that without this group. Thanks for all those who continue to work to meet their goals. . .You motivate me to push myself a little more than I normally would.1
