People are moving cubes and I have trouble with the disinfectant wipes and breathing so I told my sup that the cleaning was too close for me and I had to leave. People think if 1 wipe is good 4 must be better.... Didnt always have trouble with it, so at least my sup knows. Must be time to lounge in that pool!!

Thank you all for your support.

@brennerjlb - I know! The days are just flying by. I think we are at less than 130 days now, my daughter has a countdown. We are going on March 17 to find a dress for me. This is part of my anxiety about finding a job. I really need more money coming in.

Lana - happy you got out of the house of bread.

I’m going to try to get back here regularly

I do like the sand beach a bit better than the loungers in the pool; I don't have to worry about dropping my bodice rippers into the water.

    WEDNESDAY

    Good morning,

Anyone making plans for Lent that we need to hold you accountable for? Dejunking would not be a bad thing to do anyway for me.....

Friday coworker and I are going out after work to eat/gab. She has been my driver for so many medical apts but her new job makes that tough, so last year I bought a smart phone for uber/lyft and she is going to help me Friday use it - in the future I can get gift cards to load onto the app so I dont have to deal with credit cards and this process. I spent a long time last night with phone updating things - I dont use it except for emergencies so I have to turn it on once a month to keep it "current".

Rain today/tomorrow and then 4 days in a row of promised no rain - I hope it happens.

Suzu - they were Lemon Shortbread. They changed the recipe - more sugar less lemon. I gifted the Samoan after I took 2.

Lurking from work another fun filled day for me.

    Wave to all who follow.

    Hello!
I have to be honest in that I am not a practicing Catholic, so have not been giving up items. But I read a number of great ideas - Dejunking was one of them and the other is to try and eliminate my reliance on plastic. So i will do both for the good of the planet and mother earth. I will grab an empty paper box from work today and start going through my clothes. Good time to do it as spring is coming...some day. Then my cupboards!
Sara - your Uber/lyft idea sounds great!
Tracey - I did find a dress for myself just last week. I got one off the bridesmaids rack. Simple, not too costly. our wedding is outside, so I did not want heavy beading or lace. Hoping once it comes in I will have to have them take it in a bit (: Job- I know you already work some from home doing crafts, i am not sure what it is like where you are, but around here there are not enough good daycare providers. Also what about creating your own security service - hire out for peoples big events (not sure about the need for that, but maybe?) Good luck! I am rooting for you!

Lynn - I am wearing a formal gown as MOB as that’s what has been asked of me, truthfully though I am very excited about it.

I like your suggestions, I thought of a day home but our place is very small and hubby would not handle it well at all. The reason I lost my job is because the security industry here has become too saturated. There is not enough business to go around.

I applied for another 15 jobs yesterday and I am just going to keep plugging along applying and hope that something comes along. Hubby should be back to work by the middle of next month so that will be a help.

Tracey - I know of a lady who goes to the elder/infirm/dementia homes and does check ups (are meds there how is the house etc) and runs the patients on errands (grocery shopping and such) google elder care in home services and see what is available in your area..... just a thought. Great job on the 15 applications!!

    THURSDAY

    Good morning,

Seems lady from office who went to ER has done this before at work. There are cameras everywhere (well almost) and so I am seeing the beginning of the end for her work there. Sad, hey Tracey want a job renting apartments? I know not a nice joke, but apply for almost any position available....

Supposed to not rain today which I plan to enjoy walking outside.

Morning All! Running like a mad thing this morning. Have to be at work early and leaving early to meet with financial adviser this afternoon. I'm in the middle of Medicare research, and retirement planning and I've (unfortunately) spent more time with financial advisers in the last 2 weeks than I have in the last 20 years combined. I say unfortunately because I have always been a saver, but very conservative since my husband was self employed and I have been the one that had to worry about tucking assets away so we could enjoy retirement. I am grateful that I saved what I saved, but wish I had been able to balance risk/reward less conservatively.
I've been with the same employer since 1976 and they will allow my husband and me to remain with their insurance plan in retirement - just waiting to find out the cost and trying to determine if this is the best course of action for us.

On a good note - I got off the weekend pounds and am back (barely) in the 170s.

Sara - doing the backward rain dance for you!
Tracy - Praying you find something soon
Lynn - I did a little paring in my closet last year and donated to a group that gathers decent professional clothes for women and men that go through their "bridges" program to interview and start work in.

    I'ts FRIDAY EVE!!!!!!!

    Good morning All~~

Sara - Those were two harmless ladies sitting by the pool. Mario likes to comb the sand beach. I have not seen him lately. He must still be over on the Mediterranean (thank heavens).

Missy - I joined your challenge, but I don't know what else to do because I am clueless about challenges, and I'm short on time to hunt around. So if you see I'm not participating, it's because I went down a dead end or something.

Waving to all of the rest of you.

    Maybe BBL.....

.......wait! Missy, I figured it out, I think. Challenges need to be done on the phone it seems. I'm supposed to log 15 meals and 15 workouts within the next 23 days. Hmmm....

suzu congrats on being at one job for so long. I work in Medicare billing so I am not sure what having the employers ins means when it comes to medicare - but make a chart listing copay/coins/deductible and what you need to pay monthly (copay is for dr visits) to "pay for" the insurance. Also contact pcp and specialist you "must have" because you like them - will they take the "new" insurance? Yes it is a headache, glad you are on top of it. There is also a window of time to sign up for Medicare part b otherwise you pay a penalty..... so mark your calendar for that date.

Missy!! Aww good news for one pup and tlc for the other. Glad you can be home to monitor as I think you are right you may have #2 dog with stitches - short term loss long term gain.

Technology is not always my friend but luckily the person who will show me will not show me at the speed of light and look at me like "why arent you getting this? I am speaking "english".....

At work need to scoot bbI

Hello all! Happy Friday eve - I like that one (:
Birdie - I walked this AM too. Still pretty darn cold, but it was great getting out. Oh and you got this! Weight gain does not come from one day of slip ups. It comes from stringing them together!
Have to catch up on some other posts. Just lurking today and popping in to say hi.

Someone I know at work got hired and I gave her some Werner's candy to celebrate. She later offered me a doughnut (from a good place) and I thanked her but told her I was not willing to work off the calories as I was very lazy today. Now if I can put other items on the "not willing to work off calories" list........

    FRIDAY

    Good morning,

I woke up thinking it was Saturday - wishful thinking. Realized I do not have a grocery list and I did not wish people a good weekend yesterday. Also reason I put day at start of each days entry.......so I can look back to check ;)

Supposed to be clear today weather wise. Lets hope so.

    SATURDAY

    Good morning,

2 daily habits I acquired are going away and 250 calories as well. It is how I will nibble at my weight gain. I thought I was doing myself a favor with eating plain yogurt but then I added granola - so back to flavored greek yogurt and no more walnuts in the morning.

Clean up for carpet cleaning and nap are on my to do list.

    Wave to all who follow.

ps this is why my sister is the accountant - the total calories is actually 300 - 100 for granola and 200 for walnuts - when I worked in retail and people gave me 5 or 10 cents I had to refuse it as I couldnt figure it out I had to give to customer what cash register said.
