Crashing after work was such a treat.
Making a zucchini enchilada casserole - my tortillas are not going to roll so when in doubt reform the same ingredients.
I hope to get up early and go shopping. A good nights sleep is wanted here too.

Yesterday I had some lower digestive issues, so I think I'm a bit dehydrated, hence the lower number at the scale.
I have to fly up to NYC tomorrow for some routine medical appointments. The poundage is sure to come back up when I enjoy my favorite Chinese food there. It is what it is.

Good morning,
Up early, went grocery shopping. Stopped by hairdresser's to see how she was doing after surgery and got Papa Murphy's Chicken Bacon Artichoke (has spinach as well) pizza so between that and the enchiladas my meals are set for a couple of days.
Napping today as well- read a new romance? Could be.

There's lots of examples online. I didn't read them, but if it fits with your personality, include a tiny bit about being of service and helping others, so the thing isn't all "me-me-me".
I hope that you aren't offended by this un-asked-for advice.

Missy your energy will be best used looking forwards. At least you have options with OT or retail. I agree with Lana about the "serving others" it is a big trend it companies to brag about what they do for their community.

Tomorrow is last day of work without boss, need to savor it.
Humid and clouds will rain in the mountains. Nice shower will relax me to sleep.

Geez... My Leslie Sansone - 1 Miracle Mile with band kicked my butt. Plus a stroll-walk with Bailey-Boo for 20 minutes. (her first walk in a while... she has osteoarthritis in hips. Her pain meds are workin' well now.)

Had more pep this time with the Miracle Mile!
Bailey's walk will be at 8pm.. (we near the sun... I mean in Texas.) ha!

Rice cooking for the Honey chicken Chinese frozen pieces in the toaster oven- 3 meals for me.
Isnt Bailey boo a real sweetie? Just want to walk up and pet her.
Dragon lady came out all fire to coworker only to find out later she had incorrect information - oops - for 98% of us that would be humbling -luckily it meant the end of her rant on my coworker. Sent coworker an encouraging post and got her a bag of spicy chips.
Have to go to bed earlier as my new neighbor's morning schedule is kicking me into a brain fog.

Yesterday was a salt fest it seems. I just didn't think about it as I was doing it. Sheesh. I've got to drum up some energy to make more of my food from scratch. Also, it would help to ask for water or orange juice on the plane instead of tomato juice. 🤦🏼♀️

Another day to "glow" in the heat.
Ordered the heavy items to be delivered by Walmart as I have no clue how I would get them in/out of my car to my place.
Fruit today no veg. Just is. Tomorrow may be more of the same.
Time to crash and figure out dinner later.
Lana - at least you know a solution to your salt intake -no more kicking yourself it does no good.
Tomorrow is Friday - that is good for something.

Howdy, serial starters. I'm checking in because I'm clinging to my motivation and determination by my fingernails - since last weekend (too many adult beverages), Tuesday night dinner out with friends, Wed and Thurs night high salt dinner, also adult beverages last night, I am up a whopping 6lbs on my last logged weight (9 days ago) and every fibre of my being just wants to order a large cheesy crust pepperoni pizza and commit death by calories.
I've started SO many times, including successfully losing over 80lbs 2014-2016, but then life kicked me around and I'm back with all 80 plus more. I MUST lose this weight, I'm miserable, unhealthy and keep like crap! But I also just want to throw my toys out of the pram today.2 -

It's best to not look back. Just look forward.
For me, it's all about the grocery store and what I bring into the house. It sounds like you have a social life and eat out from time to time, so those times can be your splurges, but make home "safer".
Stock up on lean protein and veggies, pre-cooked if necessary. Don't sentence yourself to only salads.
Where do you live? Are you able to get out walking, or is it too hot right now?

I'm clinging here. Not up to speed for daily log in/posting, but I haven't checked out entirely. Busy with dogs--last week before school/work resumes. My daughter arrives 8/11 and it's always harder for me to lose weight when my kids are with me--guess I'd better figure it out. She plans to stay (although I don't assume that means she WILL; she's very changeable).
We had some coolish weather for a couple of days--didn't get above 88. Still very humid and it makes me laugh that I consider 88 "coolish." How quickly I've fallen
Jem is getting big and strong. Thank goodness I've got him listening pretty well to the most critical commands. Skye is her dear, sweet self. Getting her enough exercise continues to be the central organizing principle of my life, haha. Easier with Jem to distract/play with her some.

I bought ankle bracelets online only to find out my ankles are too big. I will gift them to my hairdresser and/or her daughter - will google ankle bracelet one size fits all....
Long day muggy and not hot so one good thing.
Alatariel - Lana has some good advice - mine would be to exercise a little more and drink a little more water.
Today I made myself walk and got 4800 steps.
Will be on the couch looking for a dance partner with Lana at the CabanaBoy club.

Ps that was last nights post not posted - rolling eyes. Gave the ankle bracelet with no extensions to hairdresser's daughter but the hairdresser took it. Glad someone liked it !! The other one I am wearing on the last link, hope that improves with better living habits - but on is on so that is gooe enough for me right now.

Maureen - Check in when you can. Yes, it's good for both of your pups to have each other for company and playtime. Good to hear that your daughter is coming this week.
Sara - Interesting about the ankle bracelets. I've never had one--never clued in that they are adjustable, but now I understand why some that I've seen on people had a little bit hanging down. I guess those are the links that are not needed for that person. Do you have in your area one of those make your own jewelry-beading places? You could make yourself some extenders there and have them attach them to your favorite ankle bracelets.
I love Sundays with their sense of no need to get anything done.

I've decided that I am going to try walking today. There are two other ladies signed up for the Pumpkin Loop Trail Meetup, so if I can only walk a portion of it and turn around, they can keep each other company and continue. It will be only 80-ish degrees then, so I'm going to see what I can do.

Happy Monday. My last "summer Monday." I'm not officially back at work until 8/17, but I will be so glad to gain early access to my classroom and rosters, etc., by going in next Monday 8/15. There is always too much to do and no time to do it.
It seems to be getting a bit cooler here---fewer days in the mid 90s, evenings getting down to 72. I'm enjoying cooler mornings with the dogs and my walks/runs with Skye are slightly less difficult.
Gotta get an eating plan going. Still too hungry most days to leave a deficit. Guess I'd better get back into salads--they make a huge difference for me.

Did not step on scale but my tops are looser than they have been and that is important to remember.
I asked my manager - dragons boss- if I would be considered for going back to the job I had before MonsterWorld started. Manager asked me to apply as it would involve the consent of the lead and Sup.
Not HOT here like it has been lower 93's is warm but not insanely so.
Lana do not underestimate the value of flopping around in a pool, you are burning calories.

Well, I did go walking with the ladies yesterday, and it was not as difficult as I thought it would be, mostly because it wasn't beastly out. I walked the slightly short-cut trail for 2.25 miles, and I totaled 4.5 miles for the day. The bottoms of my feet were sore but seem better today.
Sara - congrats on your tops being looser - that is great! Good luck with the job change at work. Keep us posted 🍀
Maureen - Let's hope that it continues to be cooler at night, which makes the mornings nice.
Going in a day or so early makes a lot of sense. 👍🏻
I too have been hungry throughout the day. I've got to rein in the impulse purchases at the store, so I don't have cr@p around the house to snack on.

Good morning.
Lana, good job with the walking. I'm averaging 4-5 miles a day right now without jogging-- sore ankle, bad cough still (I think it's a post-Covid thing; getting better just in the last 2 days, thankfully). Allergies and injuries are the bane of my existence.
I'm trying to find something that will fill me up for breakfast. Too often, eating breakfast just makes me hungrier all day long. Usually I just delay eating until as late in the morning as possible--I know that's not recommended, but honestly, it doesn't really matter, I've found; whatever works to reduce total daily cal intake is best. But I've been getting hungry early in the day, hence the need for a more filling breakfast. I just tried adding a serving of peanut butter to my morning oatmeal--we'll see how that goes!
