Take it for what it's worth to you but, if you are not doing this, you simply are not doing a full pushup.
I'm 65 and I'm doing the full plank as shown in the video I can do 20 of these at a time; sometimes 25 but that's more of a struggle. Need at least 3-5min rest between sets to continue doing them at that rate. It's not easy and it's not supposed to be.

It's been a struggle this week with all the other exercises that I've been doing but I did 100 pushups today for 2000 to date. 5 days & 500 to go.

I'm falling behind. I manged to get myself kind of "run-down" over the last week, including getting over heated putting an engine in my boat all day Friday in the 90 degree sun. I did my 5x5 workouts Monday & Wednesday, feeling better now. Did 15 this morning, will pick off more a little bit at a time. Clearly not going to achieve 2500, but I am glad I joined this challenge, & met all of you.2

well im defo not gonna reach the target but the fact we have joined in and had a good crack at it is whats important2 -
