AUGUST PUSH-UP CHALLENGE

Ok, I'm done! Did my 100 pushups today - - 50 standard plank and 50 decline wearing a 15# vest - - for a total of 2500
It was hard taking the time to do that many each day especially since I added things in to make doing them more interesting and challenging, like the 2500 weighted and unweighted squats that I did along with them, but it was well worth it.
I can see/feel a pump in my pecs, definition in my delts and firmness in my triceps that weren't there b4 and I'm going to continue doing them as part of my regular workout routine - - just not 100/day.
I think 50/day or 1500/month will be more than enough, especially if I increase the difficulty by doing declines and adding weight and/or including them in mini-circuits w/squats, GHRs and curls as I have been doing.
Thanks OP for starting the challenge and getting me motivated in this direction.
Now I've got to finish the 100,000 meter Concept 2 rowing challenge for August.
Have to row 20,000 meters today to do that. Gotta get moving . . . LOL!!!

8/11 56. I also did some bench tricep dips to make sure I also work that part of the arm.

9/1 11 (haven't felt like doing push ups lately. and I just realized that the challenge was over as I typed that haha)
August grand total: 1331 (not counting the 11 from today).
Woot I surpassed my goal. While doing the 11 though I didn't feel like I had improved the amount of push ups I could do in one set though. Now was that because yesterday I babysat my nephew and literally felt beat up the next day? So was I just tired and not at 100% for push ups or what. I'll try tomorrow and see how many I get to before winded.1
