September 2016 Biking Cycling Bicycling Challenge

First ride for September.
45.5 miles @ 16.1mph. Mostly quite a relaxed ride but did try a bit harder than usual on the hills (my weak point). Which is why I got 20 Strava PRs with a slow overall average speed.
Usually I ride solo but did this ride with a really good hill climber, hence trying harder on the hills.
I'm 168lbs and she's a petite 126lbs and I got a great lesson on the importance of power to weight ratio.
(In other words she made me look right a right old plodder!)
Sunday - 4.1 miles to the gym.
Weds - 43.9 miles taking in 3 big climbs.
Friday - 22 virtual miles on WattbikePro power meter trainer.
Sunday - 58.7 miles, same big three climbs but with a different beginning and end route.
Month to date = 174.2 miles.
Weds ride - Three of the big Surrey hill climbs and got one PR and two second bests on them, 43.9 miles and 2500' of elevation on a perfect sunny afternoon. This short hill is plain nasty and hits over 18% grade - highlighted climb on the graph.

A bit of a quiet week - shorter evenings means rides after work are indoors.
Tuesday - 18.8 virtual miles on eSpinning bike.
Friday - 21.6 virtual miles on WattBike Pro.
Sunday - 34.4 miles
Month to date = 249 miles
Tuesday - 29.2 miles
Thursday - 19 virtual miles doing hill intervals on eSpinning bike.
Saturday - 61.7 miles
Sunday - 21.4 miles
Month to date = 380.3 miles.
Autumn means a drop in mileage for me and more indoor training.
Finished September with an indoor "one hour time trial" on a WattbikePro indoor trainer.
22.1 virtual miles.
402.4 for the month.
