Well it's not bad. I weigh myself almost every or every other morning when I wake up.

I weigh myself every day. I correlate the changes in my weight with how I'm feeling. I know now how I feel those daysmy weight swings positive and how I'm feeling the days my weight decreases.

No, not daily... there's too much fluctuation. I also don't count my weight by the pound. I judge my goals as I'm in the high 250's, mid 250's, low 250's, etc. That takes into account bobbling up and down and doesn't distract me from the fact that I am losing.

Nope. About once a month [or when I see the doctor]. I tend to use measurement instead. It's more accurate than weight because weight can fluctuate because of a lot of reasons even if you weigh yourself first thing in the morning before breakfast or drinking anything and after a bathroom call. The only time that scale got daily use was when the other half was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and that weigh in became mandatory.

I've been weighing myself just about every day since I was in my late teens ... and I was in my late teens about 30 years ago.

No, but I feel like I should be measuring myself (with string/tape measure) every day, because I work out everyday, and my goal is to lose fat, but not necessarily weight.

I wouldn't say I do it everyday, but i do probably four days a week. I always go for it, for better or for worse. I'd rather know where I stand so I can fix it if Im unhappy with the results. I've learned that when I weight I'm typically seeing my choices, for better or worse, from two says ago.

I weigh myself daily and have for the past 5 years - while I was losing and for the 2+ years of maintenance. Keeps me honest with myself. If the scale fluctuations freak you out - as they used to do to me - use a program that trends the weight for you, as someone suggested above. I use Happy Scale (app) and it really keeps things in perspective.

I tend to weigh myself daily or every other day. I was told not to do that, so I went to once a week. That did not work for me at all. I lost motivation. I find for me, weighing myself often is a good thing.

I don't want too because it fluctuates but I do. I was also occasionally checking at night but I stopped that as I tend to gain almost 3 lbs overnight but by morning its gone so I think its mostly water retention. Now I stick to morning but I log my weight only 1x per week to be sure its gone.

I do and I fluctuate around 1-3lbs every day. It keeps me on track knowing I have a weigh in the next morning and also lets me know when my TOM is about to hit, lol.

Every day ... yep. I used to weigh in only once a week but found that my weight fluctuates a lot from day to day and that daily weighing gives me a better chart of seeing the trend in my weight. It's under Reports on MFP

I weigh everyday because when I weigh in each day, I tend to lose weight or maintain. As soon as I start skipping days I start gaining weight because I don't see the impact of my choices or the slow creep upward. I agree with previous posters that it is important to understand that there will be fluctuations. I do think weighing each day has allowed me to know my body better. Like, no matter how well I do, I am ALWAYS up in weigh on Monday, and then slowly lose throughout the week to hit a low on Friday or Saturday. Even when tracking is perfect. It is just how my body cycles.

I weigh myself every day - I have for years. I keep a little book in my bathroom and I write it down every day. Some people think it's crazy that I do that, but I have tried not weighing myself every day and it's amazing how the weight just piles on!

Most of the time, I do weigh myself daily. I've learned over time to use the scale as just another tool in my weight loss. It doesn't make or break my day/mood if I don't get the results I want. Before if I had anticipated a drop and didn't get it, I would be frustrated enough to go off my plan. Now if I have a bad weigh in, I just work harder to get the results I want.

I weigh myself multiple times per day, somewhat obsessively, but I only 'count' it on Saturday mornings. That's when I log it here.

I weigh daily. It has been helpful for me to see the daily fluctuations and I don't worry about the ups and downs as long as they don't start trending up or down too much. One thing that has been helpful for me as a woman nearing menopause is seeing that I retain water around ovulation and not so much at TOM. As I get closer to menopause my cycle has started becoming irregular and I can look at my weight fluctuations to get a good idea of where I am in my cycle.

That would depend on how familiar and comfortable with weight fluctuations you are...a lot of people get all bent over normal and natural weight fluctuations because they don't understand them and they think body weight is static or something...

I weight myself every day, log it in happy scale and then remember the trend.
