Anything organic. I just can't bring myself to buy it. In fact, I have paid MORE to have non-organic carrots when my regular ones were out of stock and the only other options were organic or super expensive.

Why would you pay more for a carrot just because of a label?

    is greek yogurt a trend?

yeah, it is. tastes like spackle though. i'm not at all into it.

People eat spackle?? I must get some next time I'm in Home Depot and fancy a snack.

And I'm with @Machka9 - pumpkin is waaaaay better in savoury foods.

    Chia Seeds
    Kale
    Most "Organic" food
Anything from GNC or any "Health" area of any grocery store

    Edit...anything that say "superfood".

Never had kale chips but man I love me some kale. If hummus can't be trendy because it's been around forever then neither can kale. Kale is hardly a new vegetable.

Coconut water. Someone once gave me one to try, and called it amazing. Umm, no, I found it disgusting. Not going to buy that. Ever.

They may have been around forever, but I think by trendy, it means that they've become more popular or are trending.

Fresh kale is OK. Kale chips are crap.

Pumpkins spice ANYTHING; gluten free anything; yogurt anything.

Which isn't to say that I don't like pumpkin spicing, foods that are gluten free, or yogurt. But I'm not going to trend-buy them because of those labels.

I love coconut milk, but the coconut water I tried years ago was just vile.

The only pumpkin spice foodstuff I'll consume is pumpkin spice cream liqueur.

I'm not opposed to pumpkin spice stuff, but I saw pumpkin spice tortilla chips yesterday at Whole Foods and that was a hard "no" for me. I don't want pumpkin spice with my salsa.

    Quinoa.

    This.

I quite like quinoa, but have been eating it off and on for almost 30 years, it's been available in health food stores here for as long as I can remember. It's really nice with black beans, corn, onion, tomato, lemon, salt, cilantro, avocado, a little olive oil. You have to rinse it before cooking. Very pleasant texture.

Honestly, I really don't refuse to purchase anything unless it's something hubby or I flat out don't like. Doesn't matter if it's trendy or not. *shrugs* I happen to like chia seeds and have them every day. I don't buy them because they are trendy though. I dislike the pumpkin spice craziness so don't buy that but it's because I don't like pumpkin flavored stuff LOL. It's pretty simple for me. Like = buy. Don't like = pass.
