So if a guy came up to you and said you have a nice booty.. would you take it as a compliment or be creeped out by it??

I wouldn't be offended.. but I don't think that's the first thing you want to say to a woman .. just my opinion.9

I would be offended if it were the first thing out of his mouth… It would indicate that he only wants a one night stand. If a good friend or boyfriend said it, it means he appreciates the effort you put into your body, and thinks you're sexy at the same time. It's different…9

I would take it as a compliment:) But I wouldn't be interested in hearing any further comments from him. In my opinion it shows lack of maturity & obviously he's thinking about sex:/14

I generally wouldn't recommend it as an opening line...17

It's not a complement, it's creepy and inappropriate. It's a huge turn off.17

Creeped out. A woman with that asset knows it, so a man could just say "you are in great shape", or "you have a nice body" and the woman would know what you're talking about. Pointing out that body part in particular suggests the man has been fixated on it for a little bit too long. Why? That's creepy. Makes you want to back away.9

If I don't know this person, I'd think they were a creeper. I mean, that's what he says when he first walks up to me? Or some friend bet him to do it. No one sane does that.
If it's someone I know...a friend or even an acquaintance...I'd probably chalk it up to the fact that they know I've been trying to make some progress...?8 -

Lol sobif he says you have a purty sets of lips does that mean he only wants oral?
It's a case by case judgement call. Personally I make it a habit not to be offended easily so I would just assume he likes hearing what comes out of my mouth and not what I can put in it.3 -
If he is not my man it is creepy on any level.7

The reason I was wondering was for the reason being if a girl came up to me and said I had nice arms or ssomething I work hard on I'd appreciate it. As I thought maybe a girl would appreciate something she works hard for as well1

I don't think he would be thinking about sex. As a man myself I appreciate the female body. I love it. It's an art. If I see something I like a lot I would like to compliment you on it. Might be lips, eyes or booty. Ya know.1 -

I'm glad there are quality men out there like you, and thanks for the inside opinion!1 -

Except that arms are generally not viewed as a sexual body part, where as butt is. That whole "butt or boobs man" thing.13 -

I get that but I would want a compliment on my arms/legs as I work hard on those too. An a** compliment would be uncomfortable for me.

I had a guy complement my back once and that caught my attention enough that I still remember his name. I've had many guys talk about my butt and I usually leave hoping I won't run into them again.5 -

Which is understandable by all means. I just have like no filter sometimes haha. If I like it I say it. I speak my mind. I wouldn't make it come off completely creepy.. id just imply that she has a nice booty. I see tons of girls checking their booty out at the gym as I do myself when I have the pump going on with my upper body or legs. Kind of an ego boost if you ask me0 -

It's only not creepy if the guy is attractive.
That's not really fair, but it's generally the case.
So true though. I mean I know I'm not a bad looking guy and I take very good care of myself and the way I would say it would sound completely innocent. But yeah definitely unfair lol0 -
Depends on the person and the context. If it was a total unknown creep or some random dude then I would be weirded out but if I knew the person or currently dating them then yes I'd take it as a compliment. It is kind of an ego boost regardless.

I'd appreciate it as long as they weren't going on and on about it.3

I'm a woman
...but when I was a girl of 17 I punched a guy in the face for pinching my booty. Turned around and clocked him and told him never to touch me again.
Also...I really don't need someone to patronize me. I likely wouldn't take the person seriously...not because I don't believe in the beauty-of-my-booty...but rather, why doesn't said "guy" have something more intelligent to say?
Nah, bro...there is so much cool *kitten* in the world to talk about besides someone's butt.
The Cubs in the world series for the first time in 108 years, the discovery of gravitational waves 100 years after Einstein predicted them, Black Jeopardy on SNL, the election, what I ate for breakfast this morning...13 -

LOL. This made me laugh. When I was in preschool, I gave a kid a black eye because he kissed me.2 -
I'm not a girl but when people say it to me I think it's rude!2
-
Echoing what other people said. It's creepy. Even if the guy was attractive, that's not the kind of person I'd want to be with. If a girl compliments your arms and you feel the need to compliment her, just say she has a nice body. Lets her know you see all of her and not just a walking *kitten*.0
-
It's creepy... no question. never ever say that to a girl unless she's already your GF2
-
Being told that I have a nice booty is better than being told I have a ghetto booty....2
