I'm my journey to be fit, I have decided that I never want to be super thin. That's not due to lack of motivation, I simply want to be healthy. I'm honestly afraid of losing too much weight because at this point it's just a daily routine to stay under calorie even without logging. of course, I am no where near that margin, but I'll get there eventually and will have to develop new habits.0

Short on funds until tonight. To spend them? That is the question...they’re collectables...

Another brilliant move by mfp to take away the private message feature, unless amongst friends. We could just tag people and put them on blast. I’ve seen it done here before and it was fine.
It does suck you can't pm random people off the forums. There has been a few times where I've seen someone who just needed a kind word and whilst I did post it publicly it would be nice to send them a private one without having to fr.
if the friend adding feature was more reliable it wouldn't be so bad i think. you could add them, chat, then just unfriend if needed (or stay friends). but sometimes the friend requests just vanish into the ether.
alternatively, you'll just have to live with the fact that while some people need to just vent here sometimes in a more serious way, and maybe a private kind word would help them- you just can't save everyone and they gotta sink or swim on their own.
Not out to save anyone but it would be nice to have the option to say.. hey I saw you're having a bad day and I hope tomorrow is better without adding to an already big fr list 🙂
But.. it won't be fixed so moot point.
A while back when I was having a really bad day I had a few members message me words of encouragement and I cannot express how greatful I was for those members who took the time to write me some uplifting things. I really needed it that day and I will ALWAYS be thankful for those kind souls who decided to show some love and kindness to a stranger.
I hope those bad days are long behind you 🙂1 -

I dunno man, they should try working in aged care for a bit....
By old I’m meaning dementia so bad you can recognise your family. Chronic pain so bad, you’re on a cocktail of meds and a depression and anxiety so bad you’d wish you were dead...
Yeah there are healthy old people, but these ones that just refuse to die (because of the system) is whole other level of suffering.5 -

I get what you’re saying here2 -
I used to say I wanna die before I'm old but because of you I might think twice1

One of my biggest fears is Alzheimer's. I've lost several close family members to this disease. And I have often thought of my own mortality if ever I were to receive such a diagnosis. That is definitely not the way I would want to live or eventually die.amorfati601070 wrote: »Minion_training_program wrote: »amorfati601070 wrote: »I really do wanna die before I get old...

I'm thinking about how were going on two ghost tour walks this weekend because my daughter wanted to do this for part of her birthday celebration and this is something new for all of us, her friends included, and how I want to take some silly and goofy pictures and how I hope she'll enjoy this...
Run on... hahahaha, one big thought!2 -

If you have the option, than yes is the answer1 -

Well.. I've always had the option. There's a bicycle in the garage and an elliptical in the living room.
I'm just lazy, no excuses.1 -
