Sorry, there’s enough tomvaguery goin around that it’s hard to know if you’re catching some in the face sometimes

Yeah I apologize, that was not my intent at all.

Nah, i’m clearly just on edge ❤️

speaking of the weighted blanket - do those really work? i have terrible insomnia

It has made a tremendous difference for me. I rarely have anxiety or insomnia any more. When my daughter moved we got her one too. She loves hers too.

I don't officially have a weighted blanket but two heavy quilts (Canada, amiright?). I fold them in fourths and plop 'em over my duvet at night. Just weighed them: 9 lb. Works a charm for me!

However, I've read that a proper weighted blanket should be no more than 10% of your bodyweight or some such metric.

My daughter is going through therapy for anxiety and her therapist recommended one. She sleeps with it every night and says she loves it. She’s 9

i just don't like being hot. i'd rather be cold. and my husband would rather be warm.

    *might need separate beds LOL!!!!*

thanks everyone - i'll take your advice into consideration... <3

My 17 year old on the spectrum uses one. He loves it. Helps ease his anxiety for sleep.

I thought of you this morning, but couldn't really think of your Id... I kept thinking ProteinAndPushups...

Anyhow... I vote this is your next id 😁

Lol I am halfway through my weightloss journey, i lost 17 kg and still 14 kg to lose, but i don't feel motivated. I started choosing more unhealthy food, binge, cry everyday i feel sad, depressed and annoyed because I can't get back to track. Any advice?

I know I sound like a broken record saying this but seriously... Audible.com and check out the self development genre...

Some of those books can really change your life by giving you new perspective...

Best if luck, everything comes when it was meant to, as does weightloss... So no need to stress, it just wasn't time at the moment... Once you stop fighting it, I'd bet it comes...

    Everything is within 🧘🏽‍♂️💕

I just emailed my doc. I told her that this feels like my last chance. If I can't figure out this injury, then I don't know what I'm going to do. It takes more and more effort every time to get myself motivated to get back into shape. I'm so close to quitting. I've never felt this strongly that I want to give up. I want to eat a whole pizza tonight. Drown my sorrows in food like I have since January 22nd, 2018. People say nice things about me not drinking since 2013. I might as well have. If probably be healthier.

Maybe running has to be shelved for a bit but theres got to be other things you can do? Rowing machine, cycling idk.. is there something else that gets the heart rate up that you enjoy?

I know it sounds cliche but I'm not even going to pretend like there is anything I can say to help with what you've been through... For what it's worth Brother your story has inspired me to be a better father...

And if running is your game, and if injuries are preventing you from it... I can say, I actually have been there... My running days are pretty much over but I use this every day for 15min and it gives you an awesome workout and gets the heart rate up like nothing else except for running... 🤷🏽‍♂️...
