What if the ball gets stuck before it drops on NYE and we're all permanently stuck in 2020 🙆🏽‍♂️

Guess we'll just have to burn it in the dumpster fire that is 2020 along with all our calendars. You know. For good luck. Or out of anger. Whichever seems appropriate.

    I don't think I'll ever buy a model 2020 anything 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'm thinking about buying a new kitchen scale. I've had my old one since 2012 or so and while it's nice and small, I'm not at all sure how accurate it still is or if it isn't acting up sometimes. Also, the surface area to measure food is pretty small. Looks like below, but black instead. Oh Chit-Chat, have ye' any suggestions? What's been working for you?

    You've never had helium sprouts?

I've been on the anti-gravity food diet.

Those sprouts should weigh approximately -0.3 grams

FFS somebody please tell me to get off my kitten and workout. I've been puttering around all day with my workout clothes on, checking mfp, logging my calories, and doing one dish at a time.

I'm going to do my Heather Robertson workout. I'm just waiting for this frozen burrito to digest.

Agreed. You've clearly said the brushes are a want, but the camera is a need. Keep saving!

Can it measure pizza the same way? Better yet, chocolate?
I already have a food scale and all I ever get is 'get out of the kitchen stupid, you really don't need that'.

... Radiohead/The Smiths are not "male manipulator" music. FFS.

2020 can shove its coronavirus laden *kitten* in a rocket and launch itself into actual *kitten* space. I'm really tired of people trying to either politicize everything or tell people they can't enjoy something (like music) because they think it's representative of something else that it isn't.

    Rolling-my-eyes-gif.gif

P.S. Nothing against you, this just annoys me.

    lol no worries
but the absurdity of the statement just got me thinking we need our own even more absurd "toxic signs" thread where we all increasingly find fault with someone else's preferences for anything no matter how insignifcant

though i guess we do have the red flags thread already tbf

 People already use that thread to do what you're talking about. In jest, I think. Can never tell with people 'round these parts.

The Christmas tree going up in NYC. Fairly sure it feels how we all do about this year..

    That is a depressed tree.

I know christmas lights are pretty magical... but I don't think they're THAT magical.

    It does seem fitting though.
