    So I ended up ordering little red Riding Hood. Hopefully it will be here in time. The event starts at 5pm, but volunteers can get there at 4. Early enough not to be cold, and the skirt is bulky enough to wear warm clothing underneath. Comes with leather bracers, so I may be be able to hide arm warmers. We'll see.

    Zennioptical has a feature where you upload your photo, and try on glasses... even if you don't buy them, it's a good tool to try on different shapes and styles
