Where do you see yourself in 5 yesrs from now?

Imagine asking that question in 2015.

"Oh... in five years time, I see myself in a pandemic induced lockdown for months on end while watching American cities burn on television and shopping for 9mm handguns online."

    .

Congratulations, you've got the job. Now your first task today is skinning this bat over here, then I'm gonna get u to butcher this pangolin for me. We're running on a tight schedule today, no need for any of this hand sanitation crap. Thanks

I will need to decline the generous offer of employment.

Instead, my time will be spent preparing for the next inevitable and oncoming World War.

....... take a look at history; it tends to repeat itself, it damn sure does.

It sure must be tough living with so much fear and paranoia. Kinda reminds me of that old Kinks song, Destroyer.

I basically just wrapped up my last 5 year plan that was centered around getting a master's. Honestly, right now, I don't really have any big goals. Keep on trying to be the best parent I can be, keep on with my job that I am currently very happy in.

I recently purchased a 4 yo horse that needs lots of miles and exposure but has the foundation/personality to be a super trail horse. It will take some time to build our relationship to where we can visit some nearby parks and have some great off-site rides. I'd love to get my own horse trailer in a few years and be able to get out more with her. One day, daycare bills will end!

May I quote one of the queens of our time:

    This *kitten* is bananas
    B
    A
    N
    A
    N
    A
    S

This has been my summary of 2020 thanks for coming to my Ted talk

I was thinking it’s dangerous to let your head play games that your heart isn’t going to understand.

My mom is visiting for the weekend. My mom's and I relationship is strained and I haven't seen her since last year but I can't wait to hug her. This time apart has shown me differences can be put aside and to always be forgiving. A great reminder to love and hold the ones you cherish while they are still here on this earth.

@r3d_butt3rfly_ Super insight - especially with family. I hope you're having a wonderful time together :)
