You know those graveside services they have in the spring because they couldn't during the winter? I'm going to one in June and really am stupid about dress etiquette. I know it's most important that I'm there but is a black dress still appropriate? I feel since it'll be almost summer I should be dressed all flowery and stuff.

There was a spider crawling on the ceiling above my shower earlier and that concerned me. Now I've lost sight of him. And that concerns me even more.
My dd has a spider phobia and I used to have all these plastic spiders of different sizes and colors. I used to place them all over the house, just for her. I put one on the top of the shower nozzle and it fell while she was showering. She didn't freak out, just said 'oh funny mom'.
But I got her good by sneaking a really big ominous yellow and black one in her bed. I ran when she pulled the covers down, screamed and came racing down the stairs cursing at me the whole way. I'll have to ask her if she remembers that.
I'm so mean.
I would have to agree... that was mean. 🤣
To my credit she shouldn't have made it into a challenge by being so blasé about the other 20 or so spiders I tried to scare her with. Lol I had to up my game. Plus I'd never scare a little girl, she was well into her 20's. Hmmm, maybe that's why she moved across country?

We go so long without seeing each other. You are so hot and cold with me. I know many many other people are drawn to you. I know that even when we have seasons that make it difficult to be together, we will reunite. I’ll always come back to you. You may be east but you are my true north. Funeral dress etiquette still calls for conservative and traditional clothing in darker tones. I think it’s meant to keep the attention on the person you are remembering. Honestly, I have and I would wear something black or black and white. I’m sorry about your friend.😕

My dad's was delayed a couple months and his was at the end of May. Everyone wore dark colors. We wouldn't have cared if they hadn't though.

I typed "extinction" on my phone today and it suggested emojis for dodo bird 🦤 and mammoth 🦣. I debated not using a period after the mammoth but my 5 year old thought it was hilarious. He doesn't know about the smiling poop emoji yet. I'm considering showing him.2

I’ve acquired a new job though haven’t started yet. Moving y'all's baggage at the airport. But, I’m getting paid a little more than where I’m leaving AND I get to fly for free. 🥹✈️
Also got a D appointment with that guy I mentioned before, the one that forgot about our first date, Gave him another chance and I like him. He may be a ho but he’s been showing me that he listens, has more manners than I’m used to and goes out of his way to try and impress me. I like that. Plus he’s goofy af and has the sexiest nose. Didn’t really notice before that I have such a thing for noses but here we are.
Hopefully tonight goes well since we sorta work together now though I’m sure I’ll be on nights until I get seniority.6 -

I got home from work yesterday and was parking my car (I back up into the space). The car next to me decides to pull out before I'm done and taps my car. I sat in my car for a few seconds with my rbf on and then got out. I glanced at the guy who was already looking for damage for a sec and said, while still walking, "I don't even give a *kitten*."
What can I say? I'm in pain 24/7 these days and I had laundry to do.
And, honestly, there are about 3 different cars that use that same space and none of them know how to park. It's annoying.
So, basically, this was a not really on my mind thread.

Grandparents Day. Volunteered at my youngest’s school so I got to kind of be a part of it. Watching the kids. Thinking about our neighbor who was our adopted grandpa because I never had one really. And my grandmas didn’t want to go. Sweet to see my parents with my son and see all the others too. Try watching that or telling someone about yours as a kid and not cry.😭❤️3

Also, why my situationship dodge my question of when he’s next available? 😕 I especially hate this beginning stage of does he like me or is he just going to slowly ghost me? Am I being needy or am I asking for what I want? I mean, the guy is busy a lot 🤷🏻♀️. Has multiple jobs that makes having multiple girls easy. I’m like…. Ya but why do I care about that? I was the one thinking about polyamory but idk if I’m chill enough.
Plus I’m hormonal and got in trouble with the po po this morning and I wanna cuddle. BUT maybe it’s too early to lean on him????? ALSO BUT I often just try to take care of myself and only comfort other people and maybe asking to see someone isn’t such an ordeal…… 🙄I don’t think I’ll ever stop sounding like a teenager 🙄

Well guys, I’ll be in Dallas TX all next week training! I should get a map for my wall and mark off places I’ve been. Technically I’ve at least driven through most of the east coast. Uk and costa rica. California. Tennessee.
Excited and nervous since the airport is very strict about being on time and my dumbass gets lost relatively easily. So hopefully everything will work out bc I’m gonna hella cry if I lose this job. BUT I’m gonna trust that the best case scenario will happen. I’m the absolute best employee ever and I get to have enough time to fly cool places and find cheap hotels. 😁 Rumor has it moving up in the company isn’t that hard.
