    Had to do a bank run and this man in line in front of me kept turning around to look at me, mentally prepping for an amazing one-liner to impress me with and once he'd reached the front he turned to me again and said, "Finally! I'm number one. Batter up!"

    I rewarded him with a half-chuckle but had he actually looked into my eyes he would have seen that they were devoid of sincerity

    I called the auto body shop this morning to ask a couple questions and let them know I would drop my car off some time today (after I talked to my insurance person) but I think she's off today and I wanted to take it at a reasonable hour (NOT at the end of the day) so do I call them and say I'm not going to make it and hopefully tomorrow? This has more to do with them fighting over getting me a rental than anything :)
