    I've let my friends down but I really don't see the point in paying $1700 to do something with them that will frustrate me and make me hate skating when I can just see them outside the rink and have fun skating doing my stuff I'm doing now....way minimizes the risk of another surgery but bailing on them (and if truth be told I'm no longer interested in doing team stuff if we won't be doing well and winning medals)

    How much some people need people to listen to their stories and laugh at their jokes, and how much I don't have it in me. I can't nod and chuckle and make appropriate amounts of eye contact and pretend boring stories are interesting. I can't.

    Oh! And the one about the convenience store guy and was it the same guy or was it a different guy and you always buy the same drink. I'm getting my stories mixed up now you're gonna have to retell them

    Since I’ve had grandkids, I can’t go shopping anywhere without finding things I want to buy them.
    I went to buy (1) thing for myself and bought too much, all for them.
