How times in your life were spent questioning yourself and a lot of self blame, but come present time you see things how they are now and you go "whew, dodged a bullet with that one!" And you feel so proud (and lucky!)

Anxiety, does anyone ever get an overwhelming feeling that they did something wrong but you don't know what it was? Then I start to feel like there is something wrong with my heart, and I can't swallow or breath properly, and my body shakes and tenses and it makes my muscles hurt.

First part yes and it sucks, second part no, not that bad.

    Feeling lucky.

Wife told me the dryer wasn't heating up. It's an electric, so I checked all the usual suspects. Heater fuse, temperature switch, heater coil. Everything looked good. Then I noticed one of the leads on the 240v coming in looked dark. Looked at the plug and the plug that was connected to that overheated lead was pitted and scored pretty bad. Noticed when I plugged it back in to check voltages, it wouldn't go in all the way. I think I dodged a fire. So now I'm at the hardware store getting a new cord, plug and socket and wondering how much worse this will mess up my back.

I agree, sounds like you got very lucky finding this.
