51 here and starting over after a year of continuous illness or injury and 40# heavier than I was . It’s harder this go around because I’m always in pain. But, I’ll get there again. Just want to enjoy the ride there. I’m definitely more humbled than I was before I got myself broken. Feel free to add me .1

What to say about St. Patty's Day? I went to a Trivia Night. Started out well, I had no alcohol, drank water. We were able to bring in our own snacks. Needless to say, I snacked and I snacked. Didin't even know what to put in for calories. I knew it was going to be a "rough" night with all those munchies on the table. I did try to keep it under control...which I think I did pretty well. Anyway it was a fun night, our team tied with four others for fourth place! Today is a new day and back to my regular routine!1

Hey new to mfp but not the middle agers!1

Just wanted to say that I don't think middle age is until you are 45... 30's no way, lol. I'm 58 and by your definition am ready for old age, the senior center. Actually I can join some senior centers at 57. Just kidding you all, but wanted to tell you not to make yourself older than you are before it happens.

Hi - 44 here. Looking to lose quite a bit of weight (100+). This time I'm getting out of my comfort zone and looking for friends. I would love to know if you are experiencing the same struggles and/or successes. This is such an emotional journey, having a support system would be great.5

53 female from North Carolina here with long term goal of losing 90 pounds short term 15 pounds by Sept 5 when I go back to doctor. I want to get off my blood pressure meds, and help control my fibro and joint issues with healthy eating and exercise for life.
Feel free to add me as a friend and we can help each other with motivation, food ideas and recipe exchange, etc.1 -
A lot of new faces Hope all us middle agers have a Fantastic Monday!!!6 -
I am 36 years old, married for 6 years but still childless. I felt my body deteriorated day by day. I have nerves impingement in cervical, lumbar. I also have pain over left shoulder, left knee and right ankle. I started being constant on light exercise and HIIT and swimming for the past 40 days. Mainly cause i have achieved all the 3 iwatch goals since 40 days ago. I appreciate all the supports i can get to go through all the pain. Cheers4

I can't believe I am actually in a group for "middle agers". I can't deny it anymore. Hi, I'm Lizzi and I am in my late 30's. I can no longer eat whatever I want. This doesn't just come off like when I was in my 20's!!! Feel free to add me to your network6

Hello 44 Female looking to lose 80 pounds. I work from home which consists of sitting over 8 hours a day. My short term goals are 10 pounds at a time. I started doing low impact workouts because of my knees , but I can't stop roller skating it one of my favorite workouts. I swim four to five times at week for 30 minutes and when it warms up I will pull out my bike and hit the trails. My worst problem in eating. So to start off I am working on cutting my meals in half and drink lots of water. Saying this sounds really good, but staying motivated is key. That's where a true support system is needed for me. Please free feel to add me.6
