Glad to hear that your numbers are going down Luna...wish ours were here.
and yes, Veterans Day here. If anyone on here has served, thank you for your duty.
We heard on the news today a medical person from Britain saying he thinks by spring the vaccine could be distributed en masse and we might be able to return to normalish times. There's hope!1 -
Getting on the road early tomorrow morning to relocate cross country. I've been visiting NEPA for a month.
With Covid causing several job losses... San Diego, then Tampa & Austin... I'm unsure where to go. Choosing a place based on asthma/breathing... southwest. I'd prefer west coast only, but with recent unrest, I'm better staying out of CA, Portland & Seattle.
Where? Don't know. Scottsdale, AZ? I'll be back once settled... probably Dec.
Happy Holidays, All!2 -

Hi everyone. 35 here. I used to be an active member and reached my goal, then I quit. 60 lbs later I'm back and ready to get this weight off again. Feel free to add as a friend!4

Morning everyone...feeling blah today. My bloodwork that i've gotten back so far from my physical yesterday wasn't as terrible as I thought. Cholesterol a little high, but actually has gone down since last year so she's not stressed about it. She did offer to subscribe me pot for my anxiety issues. Not sure i'm ready to take that step yet though.
Hope you are all doing well and healthy and happy!!4 -

I love that your doctor is just offering up the good stuff.
Are you able to choose what you get so that you can just get very low THC with none of the high?

I've been curious about CBD oil but it's pretty expensive where I live.0 -
I'm tired and grumpy and need some space today! I just need a secret covid cave for the next 6 months that no one knows about....2

We'll Indian summer is over but it's a beautiful day today. The boy has a day off tomorrow so it's basically our Friday today!
I hope all who are struggling find a way out of the struggles.1 -

there are so many days I just want to check myself into a hotel for a weekend or even a couple weeknights just to get away from everyone and have some space

@cgrout78 Well, today of all days, all I can think about is The Shining or The Hotel California. You can check in but you can never leave.

I think the "would you suck the toes of the poster above you" threads are that way>
Do any of you have nice plans this weekend? I'm feeling a bit rough as I ate too much crap yesterday (which I definitely swore I wouldn't do after the last time, but will definitely do again I'm sure).
We decorated far too early for Christmas yesterday because *kitten* it. There's a pandemic on and everyone like fairy lights.2 -
Also, I thought dates would be nice, festive, and a not terribly unhealthy treat for putting up the tree... but according to MFP they are 60 calories EACH? And that's a green checked one. They're just big raisins!

Yay for Christmas decorating boo for feeling ick
We have no plans really. I'll work out, gonna make pot roast for dinner and sourdough bread. Wild times2 -
We are having a small thanksgiving and since my home office is taking over my living room, not sure how much Christmas decorating i'll get done either. My god 2020 can just suck it.3

You know I thought 2016 was the worst ever.... We had to move my parents out of our childhood home (although they did well on the sale), my dad's cancer wasn't getting better and he died in November of 2016. The day before my dad died my cousin called to say his dad, my dad's brother in law, had been found dead.
But man 2020 takes the cake. But imagine we'll be telling our grandkids about the great pandemic. About the time the world pretty much shut down and we all had to remember what it was like to enjoy and appreciate all things life has to offer. Fingers crossed the vaccine is ready to go soon so we can visit people again3 -

you are so right. Try to focus on the positive things instead of the negative. I can't change those things, only how we react to them. At least we have so much technology. Would I rather be in person with my family? Totally, but at least there's apps like House Party and zoom and whatever else that we can see each other and all talk together. I can decorate the rest of the house and just skip the tree and the mantle. I can still bake cookies and watch Christmas movies and listen to the music.1 -
31! and about 50 pounds to lose1
-
I have been off and on MFP for years. I am 51 years old with 30 lbs to lose and I *desperately * need accountability buddies, on and off MFP. Currently restarting a lower calorie plan (1200 a day because I am a short female ) vegan ( but I refuse to judge carnivores, it all good! ) with moderate excercise . Wishing you all a good Sunday 👍2

New to the app. 48, married, dog dad, new homeowner (8 weeks!) and LGBTQ author. Looking to lose 20 lbs. So much harder to lose weight now that I’m middle-aged and my addiction to cookies doesn’t help!
I’m hoping that by keeping track of my calories, I’ll become more aware of what/how much I’m eating and that will be enough to keep me honest. My husband is using a different app for the same purpose. Fingers crossed!
I’d say that during the holidays is one of the worst times to try and lose weight but since we rarely leave the house, due to the pandemic, we won’t be tempted by mindlessly eating at holiday parties this year.3 -
Horrible weather in the UK today - so we decided to head to Richmond Green to our friends ice cream shop!

So you and hubs are having a battle of the food and fitness tracking apps? Who will prevail?!?!1 -
Happy Sunday middle agers!
Sorry but no, no Christmas in this house until December. Mind you plenty of houses on our road have their decos up already, but I think it's insane. As much as I love Christmas, heck my eldest was born Christmas Day, but I can't stand the tree more than about 2 weeks. I've been known to take it down before NYE!
Weather's been horrific this weekend, cold, windy and that dirty very wet drizzly rain. Still went for a walk both days with the husband and in a weird way I kinda enjoy it, getting wrapped up and not being bothered by the state of myself.
Right, it's nearly 7pm here. I'm going to be enjoying a glass of cabernet and relax for a few hours. Have a nice evening all
@FutureFit2020 please tell me those dates were massive! I know they're full of sugar (and fiber) but 60 cals is not worth it, is it!1
