How have you gotten used to the coconut in your coffee? I like certain baked goods and pina coladas - yum! But I just can't take the taste when I try to fry with it or stir it in my coffee. I'm trying to eat more avacado to hopefully accomplish the same thing.
The key is to BLEND the coffee with the oil. It makes the coffee frothy and delicious. If I stir the oil into my coffee, I don't like it.0 -

Weight loss method: Weighing, measuring and logging all food. Ensuring I have enough protein and good fats for satiety. Kettlebell and lifting workouts. My goal is 122g of protein each day and 25g of fiber. Workouts consisting of kettlebells and lifting. I also try to incorporate HIIT and Tabata as well.

What in the world? I have been eating a bit more, but still should have lost around .80 based on my eating. Yesterday I was at 185.6, so I'm not going to stress about it. Measurements are up from just a couple of days ago, so I'm going to keep marching on and drink extra water because I suspect it's water retention and bloating.
Challenge Loss: -28.4, 95% of the way there and 1.6 to go!.
This past week's challenge: Still busy. Still substitute teaching. Eating a bit more to keep my energy up required for working (showing up at a different classroom at different schools with different kids 3 days a week is mentally challenging. Thankfully I do this because I love it). Not enough workouts, but I have started a beginner running program since one of my 2017 goals is to be able to run a 5k.
This past week's successes: Meh. Still logging & weighing food, otherwise, not such a great week. Though, I have noticed I've become a robo-weigher, where I weigh my food and then forget the number; I'm just going through the motions. I now use postit notes to write everything down.
My upcoming week: Working will be slowing down, so more workouts. I can't wait to get back at the kettlebells and weights! My children's schedule this next week and month is insane, so I need to plan accordingly.2 -

I'm back, it's been a while...Here's the update...Weight-loss has been a little slow but now that I started Intermittent Fasting 'IF', it's been the kick-starter that I needed....So far since I've joined the challenge (and MFP), I have lost 19 lbs....
SW: Jan. 15th: 242 lbs
May 27th: 223 lbs
11 more pounds to go. I can do this--JUST GET THERE!
