    12/13 Wednesday JFT:

Just relax!! I'm just not going to stress about doing anything today.

I watched a "chick filck" today and plan to take my time doing the rest of my regular day. I've been trying to distract myself from Thursday and Friday (I don't want any anxiety, lol!) God must have know what I was up to today bc I just read an email that put me in an extremely positive mood :joy: The medical school grad. student program has extended me an invitation to their gala in January. This event is by invitation only for outstanding science students!! I'm so happy they recognize my hard work and dedication in school. It is nice to be recognized occasionally :joy:

Well I know that's not a JFT list but I'm taking a break from obligations today, lol!

This is so amazing!! SO proud of you!!!!

A lady in my birth group on the BabyCentre app gave birth a couple of days ago.
She only just hit 24 weeks which is classed as “viability”

He’s hooked up to so many machines so we’re all hoping he pulls through! It’s very very early days!

I know some of you pray, so maybe you could for her. She shared a pic but it was hard to look at seeing as Samson was born 2 days before viability (not that he would of survived anyway) but at least this little boy has a chance. She’s named him Robin!

    Recap W 12/13
    1) Treadmill season has begun! Walked 3 miles indoors where I'm safe, before work in 50:35 and Fitbit thought I was on elliptical, lol. Sad dog. :'(
    2) Move hourly / stairs breaks at work = Very active day / Fitbit 18,353 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 (boom!) hours & 39 floors. Net calories, sodium & sugar all green! 14c water, could've had more with all my activity. :/
    3) Lunch at desk b/c of snowstorm (4-6" predicted & I think we'll get that) / get some to-do items done = Yay, something accomplished that's been on to-do list too long. :D
    4) Evening: Put up nativities (I have lots & it isn't Christmas w/o them) & at least one more Christmas to-do = Nope...see #5 + got decluttering done, needed before decorating anyway :#
    5) Maybe shovel or snowblow driveway so hubby won't have to when he gets home...depends on when snow stops & when plow comes through -- since we're in cul de sac neighborhood on edge of town, we're one of the last streets for plow = Hubby says float is stuck in snowblower so he shoveled driveway (we have 3-stall garage, longish and wide driveway) before he had to report early to work, and pick up 2 co-workers w/o rides. Got total ~8" snow! When it finally stopped after 7 p.m., I shoveled walkway to front door & started on plowed end of driveway (plow showed up way before I expected) when kind-hearted neighbor Sue cleared rest of driveway with snowblower. Then I shoveled patio (where we let dog out & have heated birdbath), and curb area to mailbox. Spent total of 1 hour shoveling & logged as activity...that's a lot of calories burned!:tired_face:
    6) Floss & retainers / bed & TV off 10:15 (really need to catch up sleep  ) = Done only b/c on this list...I really wanted to skip :p / exhausted & done

JFT R 12/14 - Day of rest, after treadmill early and shoveling late on Wed.
    1) Move hourly / stairs breaks at work
    2) Leftovers for lunch at desk b/c have noon class / net calories green & >12c water
    3) Evening: choir, grocery shop & Christmas to-do list
    4) Floss & retainers / bed & TV off 10:15 (treadmill F a.m.)

@junodog1 Very glad to see you back! Hope logging daily here helps.

@MLHC1 Congrats on your invite, so exciting!

@joan6630 How you keep going day after day is inspiring!

@clicketykeys Your list just exhausts me.

To all my JFTers, I am a praying woman, and just know that I keep all of you in my prayers.

    Congratulations!!!!
Omg I thought I’d be jealous but I’m so happy for you

Was that what you were hoping for :)

More importantly is the little man healthy?!

I had a check up today. Measuring at 25 weeks and I’m 29 so looks like another diddy baby. Got a growth scan in the morning but nice strong heartbeat heard :)

@Bex953172 Thank you  The little guy is super healthy, measuring 56.6% for his gestational age (so a little bigger than average). Also, the sonogram technician said he has a beautiful brain and the doctor said his anatomy is excellent :joy: I'm just so overcome with joy that he is a healthy baby!! So much of my anxiety and stress was removed today from that appointment. Knowing he is healthy was my biggest concern. We would have be happy with either gender (But I love "Mama Boys" ) My baby's tend to be right around 8 lbs and I have definietly gained more weight than you already. Im not going to worry though, the weight can come off after the baby is born

    8lb!!
My first was 7.10 so not far off
But little Marley was 6lb6 and it’s looking like this baby will be the same.
The tummy measurement isn’t accurate anyway I don’t think.

I forgot to get weighed today.
I told the midwife I was unsure if I was eating enough and she said that the baby will take it all and all the reserves so it will be me that suffers not baby lol  but I do need to up my intake if I can.
    I don’t think I’m even hitting 2000.
All I’ve had today is 3 pieces of bread, one with ham, 2 with Nutella.
A cookie. And a little bit of porridge as I mean a tiny bit because it was Marley's porridge and I just had a few spoons.

And I’ve done 7K steps today!
Waiting for my OH to decide what he wants for dinner. It’s 8.30pm!!

I actually took my eldest son to his Engineering Student Gala bc my hubby had to work late. So I made dinner real early and we took off to the gala. (No time for the elliptical.) My son and I had a good time. We also did a lot of walking throughout the high school so I'm sure I got at least 20 min. worth of walking in.

I appreciate all the positive vibes and congrats for our new little guy!! We are so excited and feel so blessed. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the evening / day.

    Be blessed :relaxed:
