Isn't this just a temporary fix though? No carbs for life (or the cravings come back). I wouldn't do keto forever, so there's no point really.0 -

No they don't...educate yourself...do some research on blue zone regions of the world...some of the healthiest cultures on the planet and 60-70% of their diets are carbohydrates. Not all carbohydrates are "junk"...there are numerous sources of nutritionally awesome carbohydrates.

Keto for me is more of a reset. Never have gained any of my 40 pounds back and it's been to years I keto for about 2 months out of the year they rest of the time I keep my carbs low0

When I first started keto I purposely stop exercise so I could see the effects of keto alone 12 pounds in 3 weeks1

When I keto I keep my carbs under 20 my fat around 110 and my protein around 800
