How much strength did you lose?Reinvented46 wrote: »Strength? None
you stopped exercising for 3 weeks and lost no strength? That's impressive as *kitten*! I'm googling keto right now because I hate exercise sometimes.
Could you run just as far and jump just as high also???? And do they make keto beer?0 -

When you eat mostly carbs and exercise your body burns carbs and it takes a lot of working out to burn those carbs when your body is lacking in carbs it's forced to burn fat0

Yes mostly fat and protein forces your body to reset its way of burning energy eating fat equals burning fat1

Definitely someone who's been here before.
Kinda reminiscent of ragephish but I can't figure it out yet
Someone who knows how much we love carbs, trying to stir up the nest....0 -
Carbs aren't bad but if you eat them let's say in a cheeseburger paired with fat and protein you will gainwieght1

“Research shows that people tend to regain weight they have lost on low-carb diets because they are difficult to maintain long-term,”

If you do it, you have to do it for life and the long term effect of this diet is still unknown. Dietitians (the people with nutrition degrees) agree that a variety of foods can provide different combinations of nutrients and other beneficial substances such as antioxidants and phytonutrients. Science has yet to find all the healthy benefits of eating a well rounded diet but it is clear that limiting fruits, vegetables, and whole grains will deny ones body these benefits.0 -
Keto lowers your cholesterol levels boost energy and mentally makes me happy0

Reset. Your body burns carbs first. Fact. If your intake is little carbs. Mostly fat your body is then burning the small amount of carbs then it is forced to burn the fat fit its energy0

I'm willing to bet all of the money he was eating at a deficit without realizing it. But sure. Magic carbs.2 -
I'm not here to brag I just figure that if you don't know keto you should take the time to google the science of it change my way about how the body works and how it can be manipulated I'm not saying keto for life I'm saying if you can stick to it for a month the results will floor you0

Calories on keto? Don't know never count them I only count carbs protein fat and sugar not the calories in total. I run for 1/12 five days a weeks and lift 3 to for times a week0

I obviously burn more than I consume or there wouldn't be any weight loss0

So why are you attributing your weight loss to low carbs and not calories?0 -
about to eat a sandwich. I'll look back at this in a little bit.1

if your diet is setup 20g/110g/80g you are consuming around 1390 cals a day.. Not knowing your stats, I would day this is a decent deficit you are running to lose weight.
This had nothing to do with carbs.. the macros however you choose to split them does not matter, its total calories the end of the day/week.0 -
All that I can say is if you do t know keto you should check it out if your not getting the results you want currently that's all0
-
I been exercise most of my life never had this much success till I cut the carbs0
