    Your dislike of American cheese is further evidence that it is wrong to put tomato on grilled cheese sandwiches. But you like pepper jack, so you may remain. :wink:

    I hate to bring up the whole grilled cheese thing again, but I was just walking through th elobby, and on the TV, was a show where they were "giving your grilled cheese a makeover". They were using deep fat dried chicken fritters in the sandwich. That is not a grilled cheese. That is a crispy chicken melt!
