My diary is OPEN I list all my meals. I am an advocate of sustainable eating and hard work. Over the time line of my weight loss 4.25 years
as high as 1800 calories and still had some days over and lost.
over the last 10 weeks 1600.
past 2 weeks at 1400 calories.
I'm back up at 1650 calories now. I have to hold this weight/get better for a few more weeks
I rarely eat back any "earned" calories
Any gaps in tracking are due to bulking or being lazy I've bulked a total of 6-8 months broken up into smaller ineffective bulks/short lived bulks due to arthritis.

Amazing, looking very nice...8 -
Started around 211 lbs in 2012, got down to 145 lbs by December 2013. I have gained about 20 back over the last few years, mostly due to quitting smoking and a medication I was briefly on (most current picture is the one where I am in the red shirt) but I am back on track now and have lost 6 pounds of that and want to lose about 20-25 more.

All of you are amazing!! I just started an 8 week program at my gym, though I won't lose 50lbs by then, I will definitely post before and after pictures once I have completed it.
How long did you take you guys to get to your "after"?4 -
EVERY single person should be extremely proud of yourselves. The transformations are AWESOME. You are a real inspiration for me and others.

I'm a completely different person in so many ways.

For me it took 2.5 years to lose 142 pounds. That's without taking any diet breaks along the way. The last 20lbs took a tad over a year to lose. After spending 20+ years of my life morbidly obese, finding mfp and educating myself on how weight loss actually works was a breath of fresh air. Eat what I enjoy as long as I stay in my calorie goal? I can do that! I started weighing my food, logging, and getting some walking in everyday and here I am 3 years later maintaining. Progress photos are so important because the process takes so much time!17 -
