OH come on. I can't be the ONLY person left that doesn't watch GoT? It isn't something I think I'd like but more than that I don't think I want the commitment of a show like that. I've missed just about every popular tv series for that reason!

You're not alone, I have never even seen 2 seconds of it.

Lies, there are enough gifs of it posted around here that you've seen at least 4 seconds of it.

Ha! Ok, I can't argue that. But I have no idea what the gifs are referring to besides GOT.

nerdy gift exchange time, message me if you want to gift each other nerdy stuff

    no one trusts me :'(

I trust you...as much as most people...you "look" harmless!

But what exactly is a nerdy gift?

Guess it depends on the type of nerd...I like super gross medical stuff, space stuff, environmental science, sci-fi/horror, rpg, and reading dictionaries.

    What would you gift me?

If I told you it wouldn't be a secret! But for these things I'll usually do a limit of like 20 bucks, so I'm not sure how cool an item I could buy. I'd probably hit up a science store and browse for something cool.

Well...truth be told you don't even need to spend money...send me a gory pic, link to an interesting environmental science article, music or book or movie recommendations!

But as far as gift exchange goes, should I send you some awkward random idea of what I think is cool?
Or do you have a wish list?

any of those cool physics toys would be awesome

I have this. No springs or anything, just magnets set facing opposite poles

    6xwymojcwwvi.gif

    But you can't have it

When I opened this thread all I saw was the top of the pole. And I am not saying anymore about that since my points don't expire until tomorrow.

    Same.

I use to like sitcoms, but they've taken a dive...

Loved Married with Children and the Simpsons... Although the Simpsons got a little too serious sometimes...

I love Lucy is still the best TV sitcom ever

Seinfeld doesn't even get an honorable mention on your list? How is this?

Never liked Seinfeld, the short guy was funny... The episode where he pretends to be a marine biologists is freaking hilarious... But Seinfeld himself has always come off a bit stuck up and too much of a smart *kitten* for me... Jbh

Curb Your Enthusiasm, Married with Children, Arrested Development, The Golden Girls, All in the Family, The Office, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Roseanne, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Frasier, Parks and Rec

Some of my favourites for sure!

Since were talking tv does anyone watch Your the Worst? I think it's great.

    Hemlock Grove anyone??

New Zealand TV shows - Flight of the Conchords and The Almighty Johnsons (I'm still working on this one).

    And Shameless is pretty awesome.

For new shows on HBO, I liked Roadies and The Night Of.

Of course everyone should watch Penny Dreadful! It's awesome and Eva Green

I couldn't get past the first episode of Hemlock Grove. Famke's fake accent was so atrocious lol

Did she have a bad accent in it? I don't remember that, maybe because I am kinda enthralled with her too.

There's a british sitcom called The IT crowd, which if you're even remotely nerdy and you haven't seen... you should have. Only criticism is that they didn't make enough of it.

As much as I don't care for The Big Bang Theory, I will hand it to them for having the most accurate portrayal of a Dungeons and Dragons session that I've ever seen on a TV show.

You know who the biggest fan of The Big Bang Theory is? It's @MeeseeksAndDestroy

I think she has her own You Tube channel where she does a one women reenactment of each episode. She's through season 3 now.

I have to assume they are going to climb something. Most likely a cliff.
“Well, instead of a dog, what about a gorilla?” I can’t remember why I said a gorilla, but I just said, “They have a great stance, they are very aggressive,” and that’s how the idea of the gorilla came.

What I can't wait to see is the dogfight they are building between Poe and Kylo...

Poe is the best pilot in the resistance, but Kylo is the son of Han Solo and the grandson of Vader... The two already started the build in the first movie with Kylo pointing out that he is aware of Poes reputation as a pilot

I bet this subplot gives us insight into just who Poe is...
