Encouraging Word....
Do you ever feel like you have been sabotaged? You know, by those who try to get you to unravel the good work you are trying to do? You know the kind....,"come on, just a little bite" or "just one more drink won't hurt you" or "Really, you're on another diet?". Whatever was said, you are the one who must discern and resist when people try to get you to conform to their personal agendas. Stay true to what you have set for your personal goals. It's your personal journey--no one else's but yours and it is for a lifetime! Sometimes these Saboteurs don't mean any great harm, but the words they say can and do deviate from our intentions and take us off course and it may be difficult to correct quickly.
So, it's ok to say NO! No thanks to that extra bite, no thanks to one more drink, or no thanks to one more mention of discouragement that leads to excessive behavior.

05/03: 140.9 Finally the plateau has been demolished! Just goes to show slow, sure and steady wins the race!
05/04: 143.5 WHAT UP? My fluctuating on the scale is kind of like my emotions sometimes, but I'm gonna chalk this up to water gain and I'm not panicking yet--because I'm eating good, logging everything, and staying positive--darn it!
05/05: SORRY YA'll, I'm checking in but not weighing in today--I had a cheat day last night with hubby and just couldn't bear the scale this morning. I'm still with you all--just needed a pass today!

05/08: 143 Gone all weekend so didn't weigh until this morning. Same old thing, but keeping it going.
05/09: 143 Again! I read recently that it takes 4 days for you to rebound after 1 day of overindulgence! Looking forward to tomorrow's weight.

Lesson learned yesterday:
I only brought enough food to last me till noon, but was out till 6:30 pm!!
End result:
Hunger won... got a bean burrito at the drive through and then ate a bunch of oat meal cookies I baked the day before when I got home (not my best moment, lol).
But I got lucky -- no real swing on the scale, but no progress either.
Today is a new day, and I'm back on the wagon!!

05/06: 164.2lbs...a bit of a whoosh this week. We'll see if it sticks. I've upped my calories to slow things down a bit but obviously I can add more.
05/07: 166.4lbs - yesterday was too good to be true...TOM starts today or tomorrow so I was somewhat expecting this. Hopefully if I stay with the plan I'll be back down in a few days.

Day 4 of making good food choices and eating within my calorie budget. I also went running last night with my running group. I hadn't been out with them in over three weeks! My feet and legs are a little sore, but my pace didn't suffer.3 -

05/10: 178.5 under my calorie goal but so hungry! I've gotten into the terrible stress habit of over eating. I think this group will help me stay motivated to keep me under and reporting favorable results!

Ok everyone....I posted our next round in the challenge feed!!! Gearing up for Round 4 of JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS!!! It will begin when this round 3 ends in just 3 days! (May 13-22)

My scale only goes in 1/2 lb increments. So I don't expect changes daily.
But I am so happy with my continued downward trend....2 weeks and counting4 -
