I started yesterday with a HIIT workout and I've found that exercising 1st thing can put me in a healthy state of mind for the day. That being said, yesterday my friends and I threw a going away event for a soldier who is being shipped overseas for a year and I ate waaaay too much. I guess the moving around and setting up made a difference though.
07/03: 135.4
They built a new organic grocery store by our house and I went in and sampled a bunch of dairy free goodies like a bad girl. So I went over my cal count a bit. Did lunges and planks yesterday too.
07/04: 135
Today we went on a rainy 4 hr hike, as my husband didn't have to work on U.S. Independence Day. Came home and passed out and now we are both exhausted.
07/05: 135.2
The annoying life that is my plateau. I guess I should just be grateful that I have lost so much weight to begin with and suck it up. I just got to keep pushing on.
07/06: 134.6
Trying not to get overly excited when I get to this point because it always seems to go back up. Just going to accept it for the number that it is and see what tomorrow holds. Yesterday I only went on a short walk and wasn't that active. I'm starting to feel like maybe my fluctuations into this number are hormonal.
07/07: 133.6
So I got off and on the scale like 50 times this morning. I always weigh in the exact same place, before eating, after peeing, when I first get up. I have never been this low. Magical formula to weight loss? I went back to what I was doing at the beginning of this process. Prepping meals ahead of time and leaving myself a few calories to splurge with. At least...I'm hoping this is magic and not just some fluke.

I'm in. Weight 07/01 = 271 -- but I did see 269 once during last week. This week's goals -- no take out Chinese after twice last week and more days with SIX as the second digit! There will be at least one hefty meal for the holiday weekend: a rib-eye and a large russet are calling my name from the fridge.
Day Weight Comments
07/02 269.4 -- Huzzahs! She starts the race with a six as second digit! Now starts the inexorable battle to hold on!
07/03 268.8 -- Diligence in weighing and logging pays off!
07/04 268.2 -- Still headed in the right direction. Tonight, though, is the big holiday steak with the even bigger baked potato. I expect to have an overage that will need paying off!
07/05 267.8 -- despite humongous ribeye (very rare, thank you) and ginormous baked potato laden with copious amounts of butter and sour cream, managed to stay within my calorie target on a holiday! Huzzahs to me!
07/06 266.8 -- calories over due to snacking last night to be deducted from today so I can continue this downward motion!
07/07 266.8 -- holding steady. Despite needing to lower calorie goal to match lost pound and having to subtract calories for the previous day's overage, still stayed in calorie limit. So no quick calories to carry to tomorrow.

O course... weighing in might be the trick .. I ment to say weighing in everyday.3 -
07/02 - 155.4 - Lowest I've been for months.
07/03 - 155.4
07/04 - 157.2 - Guess that's what happens when you eat a whole packet of those banana marshmallows. So good but so bad.
07/05 - 157.2 - Wasn't great yesterday but considering how tired I was I wasn't that bad either. No exercise though. grrr. Set the alarm to get up before work this morning but had managed to set it a day late. Sigh. Means I'll have to run in the heat this afternoon as punishment for my silliness.
07/06 - 156 - Went for a run last night so that's probably the difference. Haven't been tracking cals accurately. Hope to do well over the weekend. I think my goal of 154 by the end of this is out the window though

I totally agree .. seeing the ups and downs daily really help to work out whats going on in the body, Ive always weighed in daily but only record on MFP once a week regardless of the ups and downs, I hate it when I have a "low" one day but my official weigh in on Monday shows an up on the scale and I can't celebrate the "big loss" lol ..... but, in my head I know that the low I got mid week is on the way as long as I keep my head in the game2 -

I do the same go off of my daily weigh in to adjust the next day and only update once a week on MFP. I read online the Weds are a good day to weigh. You figure friday, Saturday and some of Sunday is more laid back and I tend to not do as well. So give it Monday and Tuesday to bounce back before the weekend hits. Found that it actually does work in my favor. Just thought I would add that to the post2 -
Round 9
SW: 164.4
GW:161
07/02-164.4
07/03-162.8 I hit my 20lb marker woohoo! Half way to my goal before reevaluating.
07/04-163.2 I decided to splurge lastnight since I was already over on calories and knew I would be home for the holiday, so I could control what I ate.
07/05-162.8 I'm starting to figure out this whole up and down weight mind game. I'm in 3 challenges so I can't remember which one I read it on.... Anyone struggling with the scale please download the trending app, I'm Android so I use Libra and then Read about squishy fat and woosh you will be amazed. I know I feel so much better about facing the scale everyday now!!!!
07/06- 161.6 woohooo just have to keep the number the same and I'll be ok
07/07-162.8 seems to be my lucky number this round haha but I'm ok with it.

SW: 227 lbs; Final goal weight: 147 lbs
Round 8: SW: 164.5 lbs.
Round 8: end weight: ? lbs. No access to scale, so not sure.
7/2/17 weight: 169 lbs
Round 9 GW: 165 lbs
7/2: lbs. travelling. No access to scale.
7/3: 169 lbs. Not unexpected after a 5 day family holiday. Too many restaurant meals, and a garden party. Hopefully some of it is water retention, so this week I will hydrate and eat clean.
7/4: 166.8 lbs. Phew! Glad that worked well! I will go with the flow for the rest of this week, and see if I can shift some more excess baggage. Lol!
7/5: 168.2 lbs. Up/down/up ... lol!
7/6: 167.5 lbs. I was out for lunch yesterday, so I'm pleased that I didn't go up this morning.
7/7: 167.1 lbs. Yesterday was good. Today is better! Tomorrow? Who knows! Lol!
7/8: 166.2 lbs. That's more like it. My splurge last week is slowly going. It just required focus and mindful eating. I have a birthday party today, so need to be very mindful and stick to mostly healthy options. Shouldn't be too difficult as it's a buffet meal.

7/2 - 80.5kg
7/3 - 81.9kg - Holy Water Retention, Batman! To be fair, after being very strict for 10 days I had two days of eating just under 2000 calories so I was expecting there to be some scale recriminations. But weekend's over, back to the grind! I'll try not to let this frustrate me.
7/4 - 81.2kg - Water weight is going down but I have also not been able to "go" for three days. (Lol, sorry if TMI.) Hope I see a bit more of a reduction tomorrow...
7/5 - 80.8kg - Getting there...still having "issues" so might be back to normal tomorrow, maybe even see a small loss because I've had one very good and one decent day. Going to try to go for a run with all of my might tonight, I really need to get back into it.
7/6 - 80.6kg - Nearly back where I was but I'm feeling frustrated about it all, not seeing progress makes me crabby. Hope the second half of this challenge is more positive for me.
7/7 - 80.6kg - I'm so frustrated I could cry. What exactly am I still retaining? Not going to have a good weekend at this rate.
7/8 - 80.2kg - Better but still feeling a bit underwhelmed by this week's progress. Hoping that I can still crack the 80kg mark this round at least.

07/02 247.6 Went jogging this morning and ran a 14 minute mile. Best this year! So tired though. Too much overtime.

07/04 246.8 Well, I made a cake for a holiday pot luck at work. Mindless batter eating. Oops. Will have to go for a run tomorrow to mitigate the sugary intake! Still, good day! Got to sleep in.

07/07 245.8 Not only am I almost at 20lbs lost, but I ran a 12:17 mile today and I am honestly not sure which I am more excited about! I'm lying, it's the run time! I blew July's 13 minute mile goal away!
