    I'm in!! My goal for this round is actually to maintain my weight. We have a long holiday weekend and I know it will be filled with temptation. I am going to try to get some workouts in, but this morning it's pouring rain and an inside workout is so hard.

    07/02 - 133.9
    Not a horrible gain...I am being mindful of calories this weekend, but also eating way over my budget. My goal is to end these 10 days no higher than the end of round 8 ... 133.5
    PS - I did get that workout out in 3.5 miles outside in the pouring rain!!!

    07/03 - 137.4
    Overnight! Yesterday and today I am not counting calories. Yesterday got a little more out of control than I had hoped ... 10 day goal is to wind up where I ended round 8 - 133.5 - I have to keep reminding myself :)

    07/04 - 137.1
    The key for me is to stay away from the appetizers!! I'm down a bit from yesterday and now I hope to spend the next 7 days getting back to 133.5.

    I truly had good intentions yesterday Of getting back on the wagon after the long holiday weekend … Then my neighbors came over at 10 AM for coffee and it turned into a day of swimming, eating leftovers, ordering pizza and drinking beer. It was a fun day, but I seriously need to buckle down to get back to my starting weight for the round. Headed out now for my workout!!

    07/06 - 135.2
    Got in a great 5 mile workout yesterday and stayed under calories. No workout partner today so it may be harder to get it in, but I will!! Still have a goal of getting back to my start weight for this 10 days!!

    07/07 - 134.4
    Headed in the right direction ... 1 more pound to go to reach my round 8 start weight and my goal for 7/11. BUT now the weekend ... I don't usually workout Saturday and Sunday, but I'm shooting to this weekend to get some extra calories.

    07/08 - 134.2
    Still moving slowly down ... I was over calories a bit yesterday, but when I wanted to binge I kept myself under control, major win for me!!! Today is a new day tho and my anniversary so I'll likely eat lunch or dinner out.

    07/09 - 134.7
    Gotta make today a good one!! 2 more days to get back to 133.5

    I'm in. Weight 07/01 = 271 -- but I did see 269 once during last week. This week's goals -- no take out Chinese after twice last week and more days with SIX as the second digit! There will be at least one hefty meal for the holiday weekend: a rib-eye and a large russet are calling my name from the fridge.

    07/03 268.8 -- Diligence in weighing and logging pays off!
    07/04 268.2 -- Still headed in the right direction. Tonight, though, is the big holiday steak with the even bigger baked potato. I expect to have an overage that will need paying off!
    07/05 267.8 -- despite humongous ribeye (very rare, thank you) and ginormous baked potato laden with copious amounts of butter and sour cream, managed to stay within my calorie target on a holiday! Huzzahs to me!
    07/06 266.8 -- calories over due to snacking last night to be deducted from today so I can continue this downward motion!
    07/07 266.8 -- holding steady. Despite needing to lower calorie goal to match lost pound and having to subtract calories for the previous day's overage, still stayed in calorie limit. So no quick calories to carry to tomorrow.
    07/08 267.0 -- Well, you can't lose every day. No real explanation. Probably a little extra salt yesterday. Still, 4 pounds down since the beginning of the month! No complaints here!

    07/09 268.8 -- Copious amounts of Kung Po chicken from the take out joint. It is nice to see that even a sodium blow out and I still am in the 260s.

    07/08 - 200.4 yay, it stayed the same, been busy all day bike maintenance club and re-felting the shed roof, super tired now
    07/09 - 201.6 ****sigh**** I have no idea, I drank all of the recommended water, other than that no real change in diet or exercise

    Muscles hold water when they've been worked hard.

    07/02 - 137 YIKES!!! This is a good reminder why I don't eat the way I did last night on any kind of regular basis! It tasted better than it felt. And I knew while I was eating that I would regret it in the morning. Lesson learned. And I have already repented and ran 5 miles this morning. Hopefully it won't take the entire challenge to get back to where I was and a little less (I hope). Shameful :(
    07/03 - 133.8 Much better. Forward, March! So to the speak. Got in my gym workout today. May try and squeeze in another tomorrow before Independence Day celebrations. Happy and safe 4th of July everyone.
    07/04 - 133.8 Went to the gym this morning and minding my eating so far on this holiday.
    07/05 - 133.2 woohoo!!! I am thrilled. Going out of town the last 4 days of this challenge. Would love to get 133 to stick. Today is a rest day (always dangerous). But will be pounding the pavement tomorrow morning in the hot Florida heat. Always trying to be mindful with eating. Happy hump day all <3.

    07/07 - 133.6 slow and steady wins the race. Staying in the 133's . At the gym now. Going away this weekend. Maybe no scale. Always mindful
    07/08 - 135.2 that's what I saw at 4:45 in the morning as I was trying to get ready to go the airport. But not surprised after Happy Hour w/friends last night! And so far no scale until Wednesday. Wish me luck. Mapped out my running route for tomorrow . Always trying!
    07/09 - no scale (just prayer) I am doing my best visiting Philadelphia with what I eat. Trying to eat, enjoy and not overindulge! Got a great 5.25 mile run in on the Schuylkill Banks. Beautiful place and beautiful weather. Happy Sunday, Funday all!

    7/4 - 169.8 - welp...at least it wasn't another gain.
    7/5 - 170 - nothing to see here...just gaining and losing the same 4-6 ounces for the last 2 weeks.
    7/6 - 168.8 - Finally! some movement in the right direction! let's see if I can keep the momentum.
    7/7 - 169.2 - 11 hour work day mostly sitting on my bum, so no workout, went over calories just a bit and dinner was high in fat and sodium, so not an awful gain considering. Back on track with exercise and diet today
    7/8 - 168.6 - very sedentary but also didn't eat much, so not bad
    7/9 - 169.2 - Good workout but pretty sedentary the rest of the day. Nice juicy ribeye for dinner last night...worth it.

    07/05: 256.2 (18lbs lost in 6 weeks! That's 3lbs a week on average! Whoa mama!)

    07/07: 256.6 (had soup with a lot of sodium in it yesterday so makes sense)
    07/08: 255.4 (almost at the 20lb mark!!!)
    07/09: 255 (yesterday was a bad day for me. My ankle was sore so I couldn't workout and I ate pretty badly so I am shocked to see the scale move down but from past experience I am not betting if I go down tomorrow but we shall see.)

    07/09 - 219.3 lbs - using bfs scale so don't trust this number but it's nice to see the 210s again for the first time in a long time time.

    07/03-162.8 I hit my 20lb marker woohoo! Half way to my goal before reevaluating.
    07/04-163.2 I decided to splurge lastnight since I was already over on calories and knew I would be home for the holiday, so I could control what I ate.
    07/05-162.8 I'm starting to figure out this whole up and down weight mind game. I'm in 3 challenges so I can't remember which one I read it on.... Anyone struggling with the scale please download the trending app, I'm Android so I use Libra and then Read about squishy fat and woosh you will be amazed. I know I feel so much better about facing the scale everyday now!!!!
    07/06- 161.6 woohooo just have to keep the number the same and I'll be ok
    07/07-162.8 seems to be my lucky number this round haha but I'm ok with it.

    07/08: 198.4 dang it :/ this week isn't going the way that I wanted, but I got some good walking in today, and tomorrow I'll take another crack at it. Keep Pushing!
    07/09: 197.4 this has been a strange week for me. I can't seem to coordinate my eating and water consumption with my workouts, and when I have a decent day with food, I can't get on track with working out

    07/06: 134.8 lbs time to work it back off, see if I can get back to my starting weight for this round!
    07/07: 133 lbs getting closer to the end of round 8
    07/08: 133 lbs I'm ok with this since I haven't been able to get a workout in this week

    07/03 353.0 Better, but I need to incorporate exercise. I'm going on vacation at the end of the week so I'm trying to stay on track.
    07/04 355.8 Welp, I guess this is the cake and the pizza and the whole bag of chips I ate, plus I haven't logged in 4 days.

    07/06 355.0 I have eaten very poorly this round.
    07/07 no scale My eating was much better than it has been. Being out of the house, in a hotel, has helped. I don't have food around me that I can snack on mindlessly.

    7/8 - 80.2kg - Better but still feeling a bit underwhelmed by this week's progress. Hoping that I can still crack the 80kg mark this round at least.
    7/9 - 81.3kg - Went to a friend's dinner party last night, three course meal...did go over my calorie allowance but not by so much that it would make me put on weight, so once again it'll be water and all sorts of rubbish. Knowing how long I hold onto all that (see above as the last weekend was the same), I don't think I'll get rid of it all before the end of the round so I'm waving my goal weight for the round goodbye.
    7/10 - 80.6kg - Going down but not enough, think it'll probably stay there tomorrow as well.

    07/10 269.2 -- Must remember, it takes a couple days to stop holding water after the salt bomb of take out Chinese! No getting discouraged now! Last challenge at this point I was in the 270s. Now it's still 260s (but barely)

    7/7 - 194.8 - Had a great birthday seeing family! Love to see my young niece and nephew so much, always a blast. Finally had time to enter in everything I ate yesterday...3,311 calories...not as bad as I actually thought. One big poop and back on track today will take care of that.

    7/10 - 191.8 - today is heavy weight training/super high calorie re-feed day, so tomorrow is almost guaranteed to be higher on the scale. Gonna try adding a ton of cardio though to even it out.

    07/02 - 201.6 (TOM .. my weight seems to drop like that for some reason)
    07/03 - 202.8 and it does that also (back up most of the way ugg)
    07/04 - 202.8 I had a very low calorie day today as I felt bloated and ill
    07/05 - 202.8 another low calorie day today, still feeling bloated. happy to be staying the same weight thou
    07/06 - 200.4 and I took a loooooooooooooooong (well 2.86 miles) celebratory walk in the hopes it stays there tomorrow
    07/07 - 200.4 a few drinks tonight, we shall see what happens in the morning .. onederland within touching distance

    Back again!! I enjoy my daily check ins here. Keeps me on track and motivated to move beyond daily fluctuations.

    GW - 150 and then reassess how I feel
    07/01 - coming in from Round 8 - 157.3lbs

    07/02 - 159.4lbs - again on my Mom's scale. Celebrated Canada Day with too much good craft beer and some very salty ribs I'm going to pay for over the next few days. But no regrets!!
    07/03 - 160.8 - I'm not sure what happened to my post from yesterday...I probably forgot to hit post reply...d'oh!
    07/04 - 158.2lbs - getting back on track after a long weekend of indulging
    07/05 -159.4lbs - here goes my bouncing ball...rings are tight this morning, so I'm retaining something. I ate fantastic yesterday and was very active at work and went for a trail run when I got home.
    07/06 - 159.4lbs - bloated and constipated...ugh...feel yuck even though I've been eating the way I should and being active....
    07/07 - 159.0lbs - taking longer to get past one long weekend than it did my cruise vacation. I'm going to stay on track this weekend so I can head back down to where I was last week before it all fell apart....no beer for me!!
    07/08 - 158.0lbs - TOM snuck on me yesterday (thanks Peri-menopause!!) So some of the yuck I've been feelin must be hormonal. At least there was a drop on the sccale this morning...
    07/09 - 158.4lbs - here I go bouncing around the same pound and a half....

    07/10 - 158.0lbs - Yesterday I walked 9 holes with my clubs, did a new kettlebell work out I'm feeling today and ate super well. I feel great this morning even though this is the first give me 10 that I will probably not show a loss from the end of the previous round.

    Day Weight Comments
    07/02: 190 lbs: I must admit I did eat more carbs this weekend. I had pizza and McDonald's even though I stayed under my calorie intake for the day, and I exercised. Must be all the salt and less water intake.
    07/03 191: I drank more water today, but since it was a day off from work, I met my husband for lunch, and had an Arroz Con Pollo. I am going to pay for this. I could taste the sodium. It was almost as though I could feel my blood pressure go up.
    07/04 190: The food must have not hit me yet, but I was under my calorie intake and I did exercise. I ate healthy also.
    07/05 191.5, and here we go! I need to get back to a more restrictive diet but not starve myself. I have to remember there is more to me than just a number.
    07/06 191.5 I stuck to low carb diet today and biked 6 miles. So, hopefully I will see myself losing something tomorrow.
    07/07 192: I don't get it at all. I exercised yesterday, ate beneath my calorie intake, and drank 48 oz. of water. I'm feeling bummed.
    07/08 191: Spent the day at the lake with my family for plenty of swimming and stayed on my diet and within my calories. I'm almost back to where I started this week.
    07/09 191: I biked 6.5 miles, walked for over an hour, ate under my daily calorie intake, avoided the temptation of pizza and ice cream, and it wouldn't even give me a single ounce of loss? Lol That's alright! I'll take it. I didn't gain any.
    07/10: 190 I AM BACK...to my start weight this round. Lol I had a good feeling about today because the last two days, I've seemed to be flushing out a lot of water. I biked 6 miles and ate really well. I am also super proud of my husband who joined MFP, and is going to give losing weight a try with me. It took him a month to do this with me but better late than never, right?
