I'm in!! My goal for this round is actually to maintain my weight. We have a long holiday weekend and I know it will be filled with temptation. I am going to try to get some workouts in, but this morning it's pouring rain and an inside workout is so hard.

Not a horrible gain...I am being mindful of calories this weekend, but also eating way over my budget. My goal is to end these 10 days no higher than the end of round 8 ... 133.5
PS - I did get that workout out in 3.5 miles outside in the pouring rain!!!

Overnight! Yesterday and today I am not counting calories. Yesterday got a little more out of control than I had hoped ... 10 day goal is to wind up where I ended round 8 - 133.5 - I have to keep reminding myself

The key for me is to stay away from the appetizers!! I'm down a bit from yesterday and now I hope to spend the next 7 days getting back to 133.5.

I truly had good intentions yesterday Of getting back on the wagon after the long holiday weekend … Then my neighbors came over at 10 AM for coffee and it turned into a day of swimming, eating leftovers, ordering pizza and drinking beer. It was a fun day, but I seriously need to buckle down to get back to my starting weight for the round. Headed out now for my workout!!
07/06 - 135.2
Got in a great 5 mile workout yesterday and stayed under calories. No workout partner today so it may be harder to get it in, but I will!! Still have a goal of getting back to my start weight for this 10 days!!
07/07 - 134.4
Headed in the right direction ... 1 more pound to go to reach my round 8 start weight and my goal for 7/11. BUT now the weekend ... I don't usually workout Saturday and Sunday, but I'm shooting to this weekend to get some extra calories.
07/08 - 134.2
Still moving slowly down ... I was over calories a bit yesterday, but when I wanted to binge I kept myself under control, major win for me!!! Today is a new day tho and my anniversary so I'll likely eat lunch or dinner out.

Gotta make today a good one!! 2 more days to get back to 133.5

I'm in. Weight 07/01 = 271 -- but I did see 269 once during last week. This week's goals -- no take out Chinese after twice last week and more days with SIX as the second digit! There will be at least one hefty meal for the holiday weekend: a rib-eye and a large russet are calling my name from the fridge.

07/03 268.8 -- Diligence in weighing and logging pays off!
07/04 268.2 -- Still headed in the right direction. Tonight, though, is the big holiday steak with the even bigger baked potato. I expect to have an overage that will need paying off!
07/05 267.8 -- despite humongous ribeye (very rare, thank you) and ginormous baked potato laden with copious amounts of butter and sour cream, managed to stay within my calorie target on a holiday! Huzzahs to me!
07/06 266.8 -- calories over due to snacking last night to be deducted from today so I can continue this downward motion!
07/07 266.8 -- holding steady. Despite needing to lower calorie goal to match lost pound and having to subtract calories for the previous day's overage, still stayed in calorie limit. So no quick calories to carry to tomorrow.
07/08 267.0 -- Well, you can't lose every day. No real explanation. Probably a little extra salt yesterday. Still, 4 pounds down since the beginning of the month! No complaints here!
07/09 268.8 -- Copious amounts of Kung Po chicken from the take out joint. It is nice to see that even a sodium blow out and I still am in the 260s.

07/02 - 137 YIKES!!! This is a good reminder why I don't eat the way I did last night on any kind of regular basis! It tasted better than it felt. And I knew while I was eating that I would regret it in the morning. Lesson learned. And I have already repented and ran 5 miles this morning. Hopefully it won't take the entire challenge to get back to where I was and a little less (I hope). Shameful
07/03 - 133.8 Much better. Forward, March! So to the speak. Got in my gym workout today. May try and squeeze in another tomorrow before Independence Day celebrations. Happy and safe 4th of July everyone.
07/04 - 133.8 Went to the gym this morning and minding my eating so far on this holiday.
07/05 - 133.2 woohoo!!! I am thrilled. Going out of town the last 4 days of this challenge. Would love to get 133 to stick. Today is a rest day (always dangerous). But will be pounding the pavement tomorrow morning in the hot Florida heat. Always trying to be mindful with eating. Happy hump day all .

07/07 - 133.6 slow and steady wins the race. Staying in the 133's . At the gym now. Going away this weekend. Maybe no scale. Always mindful
07/08 - 135.2 that's what I saw at 4:45 in the morning as I was trying to get ready to go the airport. But not surprised after Happy Hour w/friends last night! And so far no scale until Wednesday. Wish me luck. Mapped out my running route for tomorrow . Always trying!
07/09 - no scale (just prayer) I am doing my best visiting Philadelphia with what I eat. Trying to eat, enjoy and not overindulge! Got a great 5.25 mile run in on the Schuylkill Banks. Beautiful place and beautiful weather. Happy Sunday, Funday all!2 -

7/4 - 169.8 - welp...at least it wasn't another gain.
7/5 - 170 - nothing to see here...just gaining and losing the same 4-6 ounces for the last 2 weeks.
7/6 - 168.8 - Finally! some movement in the right direction! let's see if I can keep the momentum.
7/7 - 169.2 - 11 hour work day mostly sitting on my bum, so no workout, went over calories just a bit and dinner was high in fat and sodium, so not an awful gain considering. Back on track with exercise and diet today
7/8 - 168.6 - very sedentary but also didn't eat much, so not bad
7/9 - 169.2 - Good workout but pretty sedentary the rest of the day. Nice juicy ribeye for dinner last night...worth it.

07/09: 255 (yesterday was a bad day for me. My ankle was sore so I couldn't workout and I ate pretty badly so I am shocked to see the scale move down but from past experience I am not betting if I go down tomorrow but we shall see.)

07/02: 166.6 - right direction, but yesterday I went over my calories and I'll be off work for the next couple of days which always disrupts my schedule.
07/03: 165.6 - I'm guessing I'm losing some water weight. Let's see if I can't try to maintain this or get below it.
07/04: 165.2 - over 20k steps yesterday and under calories.
07/05: 166.0 - didn't get much sleep last night and I was slightly over calories yesterday. back to the grind.
07/06: 166.8 - I've been doing this since October and it's still hard to see an uptake on the scale when I know I've been doing everything right even though I know it's water weight.
07/07: 167.2 - up two pounds from Tuesday now. let's hope this starts falling off soon.
07/08: 167.4 - had a bit of a mental break over this.
07/09: 166.6 - starting to finally drop down.

07/07 - 220.8 lbs - goal reached!! now to see if i can see the 210s.
07/08 - 220.8 lbs - ate lots of salt last night...like 10 pm snack on instant potatoes bad. still only went 80 cal over though.
07/09 - 219.3 lbs - using bfs scale so don't trust this number but it's nice to see the 210s again for the first time in a long time time.

07/04-163.2 I decided to splurge lastnight since I was already over on calories and knew I would be home for the holiday, so I could control what I ate.
07/05-162.8 I'm starting to figure out this whole up and down weight mind game. I'm in 3 challenges so I can't remember which one I read it on.... Anyone struggling with the scale please download the trending app, I'm Android so I use Libra and then Read about squishy fat and woosh you will be amazed. I know I feel so much better about facing the scale everyday now!!!!

07/05 - 157.2 - Wasn't great yesterday but considering how tired I was I wasn't that bad either. No exercise though. grrr. Set the alarm to get up before work this morning but had managed to set it a day late. Sigh. Means I'll have to run in the heat this afternoon as punishment for my silliness.

7/9 - 81.3kg - Went to a friend's dinner party last night, three course meal...did go over my calorie allowance but not by so much that it would make me put on weight, so once again it'll be water and all sorts of rubbish. Knowing how long I hold onto all that (see above as the last weekend was the same), I don't think I'll get rid of it all before the end of the round so I'm waving my goal weight for the round goodbye.
7/10 - 80.6kg - Going down but not enough, think it'll probably stay there tomorrow as well.
