Im gonna say no lol When i met my husband i had horrible credit, because 18 year olds should NOT be allowed to sign up for credit cards. I wouldnt have married him if he cancelled our first date because of my credit score7

Third date, but I would come out a weirdo because I don't like borrowing money so have no credit.6

I have them include it in the packet with the std test results, FBI background check, and affidavits from former lovers.46

I like to do this so I know who's identity is worth stealing.36

I could be wrong because i cant find the article but I swear I read at one point that something like 70% of serial killers had an above average-excellent credit score8 -

Do you plan to offer a credit report on you to your dates before asking them for theirs?
I don't think it is okay but you can ask any weird personal thing you want before the first date to scare people away.

You have a very different concept of weirdo then I do. I know a lot of awesome people who happen to have crappy credit scores due to the crappy economy.13

Is there not some way women can weed out the men without being critized0

Pepper you have my heart...all the above is important0 -
Honestly you should get to know them. If they're asking for photos of your body before the first date, don't date them. Maybe if you volunteered somewhere or took some classes or something you might meet a good person with similar interests you could get to know. A credit report isn't really going to tell you anything.7

It's an interesting concept, but I don't think it will weed out the kind of people you are concerned about. It might weed out the ones that are fiscally foolish or had some financial bad luck. But not all of those people are messed up, they are just bad with money or they could have hit a really *kitten* row of circumstances.
A Rorschach test might be a better option. I mean if every answer to every ink blot they see is vagina, boobies or a naked picture of their mom, then you know you have one to weed out.3 -

Maybe, but I doubt this is the best way. You're going in to a romantic relationship, not a financial deal.6 -

True so if i meet someone hiking...cause i like hiking...good date material2 -
I don't really understand why you would want this information before a first date, what's it to you?
Are you planning on getting a mortgage with him before you've even dated once?
People can have good credit and make horrible decisions with money, I know several.
I also know a couple of people whose credit score is bad because of a divorce and having to pay a share of their spouses debts that they were unaware of...lovely people who got seriously screwed over. It would be a shame to not give these people a chance because of their spouses mistakes.9 -

That's because they like to save money in the bank and their victims' teeth in a tiny, tin box.5 -
It's weird because to do a credit report you need a lot of personal info like former addresses, possibly SS number... I wouldn't give that away to someone I hadn't met. Also, asking for proof of financial valor would probably be looked down on because dating someone "just" for their money is usually socially unacceptable, although I understand that in a long-term relationship finances should be a factor.4
