I'm not sure what the OP is selling, but if they got it from Dr. Oz I don't want any.40

And how does one determine their "carb tolerance"?2

Fair warning: the cracker I ate didn't solve anything.
Nope. Nothing to do with Polly; but I once met a parrot!

There really is no end to the amount of made up crap celebrity "doctors" will peddle is there.14

My tolerance for crackers depends on the cracker and how many in the pack are broken. Broken crackers really get my goat. Then my goat gets my broken crackers.24 -

But I get to imagine I'm eating more crackers if they are broken.5 -
I have a Dr Oz intolerance. Why oh why do people still listen to him after he's been called out so many times for spewing pseudoscience?36

I refuse to link to anything dr oz, but yes as per a geneticist who (shocker) wrote a book and went on the oz show, eating an unsalted Saltine style cracker can tell you if you are carb intolerant. The clip i saw doesn't include what the cracker will do to you, but I assume it will add 5 lbs direct to your belly and cause you to shout obscenities at children on playgrounds.37

They actually did a study on him and found that the majority of the stuff he claims and markets has zero scientific backing at all. Some of his claims are directly refuted by science as being 100% false. How he has a medical license is beyond me.13 -
Oh, Dr. Oz again... We need an 'eye-rolling' emoji.

Dr. Oz is selling crackers now?6

I ate a whole sleeve of bacon-flavored Ritz. Am I doing it right?23

I don't think I did it corectly. I needed a glass of wine to get through the 3 dry crackers.
Cheers, h.23 -

Alatariel75 wrote: »And how does one determine their "carb tolerance"?
By chewing a salt less cracker
0 to 14 seconds until taste change: carb tolerant
15 to 30 seconds until taste change:Moderate carb intolerance
More than 30 seconds until taste change:high carb intolerance8 -
Of all the various factors affecting carb tolerance, I'm pretty sure the level of saliva enzymes is one of the least consequential. I'm a diabetic, I clearly cannot tolerate carbs, and my saliva breaks them down just fine.14

You need to have a timer in one hand and pen and paper in the other hand. Otherwise it doesn't work!! How often do we have to go through the testing protocol! Now you've finished the Ritz crackers!4 -
I have a very high tolerance for Mcvities Cheddars. I can keep eating them all day.
OP, if you haven't gathered, Dr. Oz is a quack. Unfortunately being a real doctor doesn't stop you being a quack. It just makes you a more culpable one - he clearly knows he's lying to people and doesn't care.8 -
Mmm.. want some Ritz.0
