I think this was my last run for the month. Give my legs a rest until the first. I did cut back on miles some last week. It was a chilly 31F (-.5C) this morning, but no wind so it was really nice. I made the mistake of putting a crew sweatshirt over my short sleeve dri fit and it got a bit too warm, but that’s okay.

@WandaVaughn I’m so sorry about your friend. It was definitely a cold one this morning. Once you do the HSV HM you’ll be looking for something else. I would do Bridgestreet Half if I were you. It’s a nice relatively flat course here in Huntsville. Take a trip to Monte Sano!
@kgirlhart did you get your gas leak fixed? That’s no fun.
@_nikkiwolf_ Great 20K. I think you were much better off leaving the pacer. That’s like running intervals, slow and then make up the time. Super swag!
@ereck44 interesting about the chiropractor and trail running, it does strengthen areas that road running does not
Super job on the 15K @kevaasen
    Fantastic @JessicaMcB!
@MobyCarp sounds like you had a great race with some wet and messy conditions. That would be so cool USATF Niagara Region Masters Men's Runner of the Year
@BruinsGal_91 what a shame about Steve and Stella, you always have to double check those bibs. The last few XC meets I started writing the kids names on their bibs, because 2 swapped by accident a copy weeks ago. Nothing more upsetting to a 18 min 5K runner than swapping bibs with a 21 min 5K runner. I’m also so careful too, I look them up, say the number out loud, double check the bib and chip, say their name when I’m handing it all to them. Then they sit down next to each other and grab the wrong bibs.
@OSUbuckeye906 Good luck in NYC!! Same to Denise @DDmom0811 I didn’t realize you were going to run a 5K while you were there, awesome and good luck
    Great run @respectthekitty
Ugh @fitoverfortymom why do we do the things we do, hope the calf is better soon, but a super PR
Beautiful picture @bride001 funny you mentioned @JessicaMcB and LSU I always think that yellow and purple college
    @sarahthes aw too sweet.

LOL Garmin is trying to butter me up for something...
Your VO₂ Max is 49 which is excellent for men ages 40-49. Your fitness age is that of an excellent 20 year old. That's the top 15% for your age and gender.

Color me a bit skeptical

Yeah, it's a crapshoot on those. Says mine is 53. Of course, with the state of people's physical condition, we probably ARE in excellent shape for the average 20 year old.....

I have come to the conclusion that in order to keep up here, you must either be attentive or you'll be staring at the screen for hours....lol

Side note, Just ran over to Fleet Feet to get a new running belt(need something to carry more than just the phone and a hat to keep my bald head warm now that winter is approaching. Somehow ended up with another pair of shoes in the bag as well... Oh well, I have been needing a second pair if I plan on running more frequently. T-minus 6 days until the Half this Sunday. Hoping the flip-flopping forecast flips back to no rain.

30--- I had good intentions to go run. Weather is nice, little windy. I don't think my hip can take it today. Doc's office phoned to reschedule my appointment on the 17, *cringe* I hate it when they move it further out! *Supprise* its the 13th!

I really hate this downhill progress. I'll drive by the pool, see if it looks like it'll be open any day now. Then go home and ice my hip. And watch Torchwood. With a bottle of Sprite zero. Heck I may toss in some grenadine.

    57.01/80 miles

So proud of everyone that made it through the month! Congratulate yourselves, be proud of every step.
