I am 5'5"
I am 175 and trying to loose 40 pounds.
I am very sedentary.
I THOUGHT I would have to eat only 1200 calories to loose WT but I tend to eat 1500 pretty regularly and if I stick to it I seem to be able to loose 1-2 pounds in a week -- then I freak out and eat a ton of things I shouldn't. I can't imagine how successful I would be if I kept it up and even started exercising!
About 300 of the calories are fruits, veggies, and a diet yogurt -- so maybe they are "healthy" calories -- I just don't know.
I found this site through google "can I loose wt eating 1500 calories per day". LOL!
I can be so balanced, level-headed, and basically "good" for 3 days and then I loose control. Today is day two so I am hoping this site will help me -- I have a great feeling about it -- everybody is so positive and kind.
Thanks in advance -- just for everybody being here!

Female
5'4"
158 lbs
I eat between 1400 and 1500 a day (higher if I workout or on Saturday cheat days)
Try to hit the gym 3 or 4 times a week but it's been more like 2 lately due to overtime at work and arctic Chicago weather
Goal weight loss is 13-18 lbs.
I was trying to eat only 1200 cals a day but I wasn't losing and found myself not satisfied. I tend to net 1200-1400 after exercise so I rather workout and be able to eat normal. Weight loss is still very slow for me, probably cuz I don't eat a lot of "healthy" foods. I'm just trying to lose atleast 1 lb a month now so I don't keep fluctuating like I did last year and ended up where I started. Also incorporated some weights instead of just cardio in my workouts.0 -

Eat 1,200-1,250 cals a day
1 cheat day a week
Exercise 2-3 times per week0 -
Male

157lb
Eat 1620 - 2000 cals a day.
Minimum of 15 min high intensity cardio every morning.
(Boxing, jump rope, or dancing)
Some strength training 2-3 week
(Break dancing, pushups)
I eat as much as I want when I want. I never go hungry.
My diet consists of mostly fruit and vegetables which are low in calories so it can be difficult to accumulate 1620 per day.
I occasionally eat eggs and fish when my body craves it (usually on days that I roller skate or weight train).
So far I have lost over 30 pounds.
6 pack for the first time in life. EVER!0
