Such a thing as guy "friends"?

Can girls just be friends with guys or do you all at some point just want in our pants?

I have met guys on this site who are amazing and sincerely platonic. Platonic friends are the best, they don’t demand as many nudes and the ones they send are a bit more low-key. Plus there’s like almost no pressure to sext or have a high credit score.

The trick to having guy friends is to be someone guys want to be friends with. Guys befriend other guys who share their interests and help them out. If a guy is your "friend" and wants to hold your purse while you try on clothes, he's either gay or wants in your pants. If he wants to talk about planning a raid in World of Warcraft or going rock climbing or helping him move furniture, he may be a real friend. Ask yourself: if I were a guy, is there literally any reason on earth another straight guy would want to spend time with me?

i have a lot of friends that are girls, just that nothing more. besides i have my own pants...... haha

some just cant be friends, just like some girls cant just be friends, they want in guys pants too.

I honestly can't say that I have any female "friends" at present, just acquaintances, coworkers, etc. I have in the past but every single time something always ended up happening eventually which pushed the envelope. Drunk at a party, shoulder to cry on which escalated, random out of nowhere attack each other, or whatever else. Afterwards things got weird, and it was not very long before we were no longer friends.

I am not opposed to the idea. I think it might have some advantages, and I am little older now so I am not just a walking hormone nearly as bad as I once was.
