I've decided that I am going to eat at maintenance for 2/7 days a week, which is why I am going to start using my average weight. Want to offset hormonal changes that occur when losing weight for extended periods of time that can make it harder to lose and maintain weight and hoping to elevate potential emotional stress of constantly being in a deficit. Last weekend was my first time intentionally eating at maintenance and not only did my weight basically stay the same, which it should, but I didn't realize how hard it is and how hard it probably will be when I do reach maintenance mode. Let' see how this works.

Thank you so much, Cyranda! This challenge has kept me going with no thoughts of quitting. I get so much out of reading everyone’s daily squibs! Thank you all for sharing. And persisting!!
I’ve done 14 of these challenges which is exactly 20 weeks. I started MFP before joining the challenges so there’s no starting whoosh represented here. I’ve been aiming at a 500-calorie per day deficit which would theoretically result in a 1-pound/week loss. From high to low in 20 weeks I’ve lost 24 pounds. I’ll take it! CICO!!

@tishawj Which Garmin do you have? And what setting to get the average display? I have Vivofit 3
@Elbee1 That’s that up down @junodog1 mentioned. I stayed in approximately the same pound for 5 rounds! Hang in there, it will happen!

I'm in for the third round. More realistic goal this time... I would love to get to 145lbs before Christmas, but baby steps. My goal for this challenge is 150.0 lbs. Weekends are the absolute hardest for me to even maintain my weight. Open to suggestions for that
Good luck everyone!!!

@quiltingjaine I have a vivofit 2. A "Last 7 Days" group showed up on the home screen when the app updated on my iphone last week, it shows averages for steps, calories, weight and sleep. I see that if I go into the "edit my day" button that it can be switched on or off. I think it's going to be useful to watch.

**Welcome newcomers, and welcome back, friends!**
Yay! Another round!! Thank you so much for keeping this going @cyranda63!
At first I was unsure how I would feel about recording my weight every day. Turns out, I am actually less affected by the fluctuations than I thought I would be. I learned that results of good (and bad) behavior can take several days to see, and focusing on the averages from round to round is very rewarding!
Let's kick MOVEmber into high gear!!

Day/Weight/Comment
11/9 252.0 -- up a touch but ate with reckless abandon yesterday and I know some of it is water by how my ring feels. Wedding ring fell off once yesterday but it won’t this morning. Ordered ring guards. Lose weight? Yes. Lose wedding ring? NO!.
