@PastorVincent you've got five days man, that's only 10 miles a day, you could do it!

@JessicaMcB - I could if I was at home, but alas traveling as I am, and the responsibilities to show up and be places (family events) is blocking that.

@shanaber I sometimes wear my yoga gloves when I am struggling with my grips. They have little gripper things. I know farmer carries help with grip strength. I don't do them enough though.

Nice running. That's a cold temp you got there.

Not much running going on for me. Week before Christmas I did two short runs of 1 and 1.5 miles. My knee seems to have healed nicely. However I don't have appropriate gear for cold weather. Tomorrow warms up to 39 so I hope to run then.
extra time to heal up isn't necessarily a bad thing..... Holidays are always harder for getting in running. Having appropriate gear for cold is a huge thing in cooler temps.

Another 5km Nearly there and I am going to make my December challenge (most likely Saturday).
This run is so terribly hard earned. I was running like a wet blanket. It just was not a good run. Number of reasons but the number one reason is christmas food in the digestive system making me feel rather uncomfortable. At least with this run I have given it a push downward of sorts.

@dutchandkiwi I think we've all had those runs LOL

Today was plyo day. I did 3 of 4 rounds due to time constraints (I'm supposed to be working on my biz right now, just a quick pop-in). I also did regular box jumps instead of burpee box jumps because my arms are dead from yesterdays strength training. Tomorrow I run!

@katharmonic -- Thanks for the info on the RunGo app... I already had my Boston trip in November (didn't do one of the Strava route challenges, but just enjoyed the scenery around the Charles River and only got "lost" once). However, there are often times when I would like to use that feature, so will check it out.

Just goofing off today...no motivation to be out in the cold, so just walking around a little to stay warm (in the house).

We packed away all our Christmas decorations and cleaned the house. My kids helped and good thing, because I almost fell down the attic stairs trying to lug a big container through the opening in the ceiling. Thankfully my daughter helped break my fall! We are both ok!

I held off running hoping it would warm up, but it didn’t. It was cold today! I wore my Christmas present- a headband to keep the forehead and ears warm. Easily the best Christmas present this year  I also picked up a tech jacket for $4 from Lidl yesterday. Lidl is becoming one of my favorite places to shop!!

I swear the cold weather makes me unnaturally fast! Managed a 8:40 pace for 5 miles.

@zdyb23456 if I had a dollar for every time I fell out of the attic I'd be rich. Glad you both are ok. Great buy on the jacket and awesome pace.

@RunsOnEspresso - I have gloves that I wear when I lift with suede on the palms and fingers but this is more my hands getting tired and are stiff. I have a contracture disease that overtime limits the range of motion in my fingers and when it flairs up they get really stiff. Unfortunately the things we would normally do to increase range of motion and even lifting itself, actually cause it to get worse so I usually just do squeezes with different types of balls made for that.
    @hjeppley - Beautiful picture!
@skippygirlsmom - the laser treatments are a way to increase blood flow to an injured area to increase healing. I had it done on my PF too, years ago with great results. The sports chiro did that and some other treatments with vibrations that really loosen up tight muscles. He did targeted vibration last time I was there on my hip and hamstring and it made a huge difference in the pain. This time the laser and some stretching made it a bit sore and the targeted and general vibration helps to keep the hamstring from tightening up along with the supporting muscles in my hip and glute.
@zdyb23456 - I am glad you and your daughter are ok after that fall! Isn't Lidl a grocery store?

I am taking a rest day today. Couldn't run today after seeing the doctor anyways so it worked out. He said I can run again tomorrow just to keep it easy and short... I see everyone running in cold cold weather and no one wants to hear me complain but it is going to be in the 80s again here for the next few days. I really just want it to stay below 70. I hate running when it gets much over 75, I will do it but Hobbes the Vizsla has to sit it out.
