My assumption: When people who are on welfare or any type of government supplement actually don't want to improve or even look for a job. My basis is: if that happened to me, I'd ride the govt money train as well.1

This is a very common misconception. Alcohol does not make someone abusive, the fact that they are an abusive person makes them abusive.9 -

There are happy drunks and mean drunks, there is a difference. But yes as soon as someone goes down that mean road once they are likely abusive.2 -

I have often thought about this and in the end If I have no hope, no meaningful job skills or people skills to advance. Why go to work at odd hours to make the same thing I can get not working.0 -
