Wow exciting times @Bex953172!! Will be thinking of you! Def get to bed early if you can x
Snatched victory from the jaws of defeat today. Went to my parents to celebrate daughter’s bday and was feeling v stressed about calories and stuff after yesterday but I kept calm, ate well but sensibly and logged. And ate a piece of cake too. Then had a lovely time shopping for new clothes with the girls with their birthday money. All good and heading for an early night.
exercise early ✅ done already and really enjoyed it this morning
- Stay within calorie goal ✅ Just scraped in as I used up a lot on a piece of the chocolate Guinness cake I made to take to lunch
- Water (not just coffee!) hmm this is major goal for tomorrow now
- Paperwork ✅
- Batch cook veggies ✅
JFT 25/2:
- exercise at some point
- Water at least 2ltr
- Stay in calorie goal
- Get in a nice walk with the kids
- Get all homework completed with minimal stress (planning to do it in a cafe for a treat)
- Early night
Sleep well all and look forward to exciting news soon! X7 -

I really must get more serious about calorie reduction. It’s just been so hard coming back from vacation. And also having no time to exercise due to long work hours. I did have a nice relaxing day today.
Report2/24
Walk walked in the rain today. Met some nice folks playing Pokémon.
Log but once again over. I keep telling myself at least I’m logging.
Fast broke fast early 10am, but for a good reason.
Clean tidied up, paid bills, but you can’t tell where I tidied up anymore. Darn kids.
Spend time with kids the reason I broke my fast early was I took my son out for breakfast. He’s 15,but still will spend time with me. I love him to pieces.
JFT 2/25
Make lentil soup. That always helps with calories.
Fast
Log
Walk
Clean
Make muffins for kids

I had to jump back on here because I'm so excited for you, @Bex953172! I did get to work on the quilt a little bit today, but I promise that I stopped as soon as my arm got sore. I think it's going to be cute! I'm so excited to finish it and send it to you. Can't wait to see the sweet little bitty Casey! I'm sending you hugs across the the miles, sweetie!5

@OConnell5483 two things...
I found this YouTube video on physio to help with lymphodema that might be interesting for you.
This was very helpful! Thank you. It led to a few others that also were helpful. I don't know why I didn't think to youtube it. My husband and kids YouTube everything, and I just never think to do that unless it is for quilting.

@HGSmith0920 I'm glad you are taking some time to focus on yourself again! I know it feels great to help others, but remember that you have to be well yourself or you can't be any help to anyone else. Right? You are important! Rest when you need to, go to the gym when you feel like it, and if you need to cut your visits with Godmom short, then that's what you do! Sounds like you are on the right track... (((HUGS)))4

1. Journal every bite.
2. Stay green. If it isn't enough, then exercise to offset the extra cals.
3. Increase water from yesterday. I did really bad with this the last few days.
4. Spend time in the basement decluttering sewing area and trying to get some sewing in.
5. Take breaks to elevate my arm Actually did some self-massage exercises also.
6. Spend time reflecting on this year's goals. One of the things I learned about myself last year on here is that I do better if I list my goals, then break each goal into steps to reach the goal. Started a list of goals.
7. Be grateful. Redirect when my brain goes in the opposite direction. Gratitude journal tonight Had a real nice day.
8. Redo my beck's index cards, read the next chapter of Beck's book, and read Simple Abundance tonight. I'm about to read both books right now and update my cards.
9. Bake banana bread for my honey. Done
10. Call mom. Done
11. Bed at 10 because I want to start going back to church and I never get up early enough to make the service. Heading there now to read. Hoping I fall asleep fairly early so I get up!
Just for Sunday
1. Journal every bite.
2. Increase water intake from Saturday
3. Go to 9:00 service at church
4. Spend 15 minutes each taking care of my Body, Mind & Spirit
5. Continue thinking about 2018 goals and how to achieve them
6. Call dad and check in
7. Sew. I found it so soothing and relaxing on Saturday!
8. Meal Plan and make grocery list for week
9. Prep lunch bag for Monday, set coffeemaker timer

Greetings!
I hope you all had a very good Saturday and accomplished what you wanted. I stayed in my calorie count but was a whopping 15 over my fat amount. Yikes! The only thing I exercised today was my mouth as my friend and I had a major gab fest. I don't think we took a breath all day! My hubs fled to the ski slopes, and I don't blame him! (peck a little, talk a little, peck a little, talk a little, cheepcheepcheep, peck a lot, talk a little more!)
JFT, Sunday 2/25
Tomorrow I will exercise, if only for a few minutes. I will stay in my calorie amount and really try to not go over the fat amount by one or two. I will finish the online lesson I started today.
Ladies, wonderful things happening on the board---of course we are all focused on @Bex953172 and awaiting the news!
May your Sunday be filled with rest, peace and joy.6 -

Finally took the time to read the posts & I don't have time to respond to all the ones I'd like to! You can really sense the excitement for @Bex953172. Hope your resting and the lovely baby Casey has entered the world .
Some of you have posted inspiring quotes-thank you.
@cschmitz110515 your post is awesome. Just to see how far you've come-be proud
Heading to Sunday School shortly so didn't walk the dogs. (We didn't get to hike yesterday b/c of unexpected rain).
Walk dogs later (in rain).
Watch video about 5x5 weight lifting program. Still looking for a good video.
Meditate 25 mins this afternoon
Drink water-64oz min.
Track all my meals today-low carb/high protein. goal 150 grams.
Self care later today.
Reorganize planner binders for Boy Scouts, Kids/school, recipes, Sunday School & more.
Visiting elderly loved ones today & delivering chicken pot pies from our church. I get stressed out b/c I'm not happy with their home care situation but I can't change it due to choices made by others. It takes me a day or two to get past the sadness/helplessness I feel. They could be doing so much better.
Promised my DD chicken wings tonight. I've never made them from scratch so I'm using a recipe I found on allrecipes.com.
Early to bed-10pm
Have a wonderful Sunday JFT gang!

Good morning! Just hopping on to check on @Bex953172 and see how everyone is doing. Plus, I must admit, I had to read my goals for today. I wrote them last night and I never remember them the next day when I do that!
I already didn't get one of them done because I slept too late.
Have a great Sunday everyone!5 -
SO excited, and can't wait to hear from you @Bex!!! I feel like I am having a granddaughter --- we've all shared so much through your pregnancy, and that day is finally here!
Waiting to hear from you .... and see some pictures6 -
So apparently I didn't even post any goals for saturday ... or at least I can't find them. I did good all day, but as usual, had to run to the store, came home with peeps and cadbury eggs for my daughter, and I ate them. I get so upset with myself. I guess I am not only a compulsive eater, but a compulsive shopper, at least when it comes to food.
so a new day
Sunday
1. work on quilt! Yes, I am stuffing this king size quilt in my little machine. But I got the center part done yesterday! Needless to say, house is a mess, so my next goal
2. clean the house!!!
3. laundry
4. go to the gym with hubby. Which I hate to do, because I am more a morning person. But didnt get there today, so I told him I would go with him. He stays for 3 hrs though, so I will be driving separately.
5. concentrate on water. I keep slipping on that, and I think that leads to overeating. I am most likely dehydrated. so put that red cup where I can see it, and drink up
6. in between quilting, work on chemo hats. My arms can only do so much quilting - as this quilt is heavy. so work on chemo hats
7. get back on here - be accountable
8. and ..... no snacking tonite!!6 -
Day 24 all clear
I was feeling really worn out so I took a day off from exercising, I'm not happy about it but I'm confident I'll be back at it tomorrow.
Day 25:
limit KJ
watch out for sugar and sodium
avoid gluten and dairy
Complete 2hrs on exercise bike5 -

Very excited awaiting @Bex953172 news!
Recap Sat. 2/24
1) oil change = Reschedule / so glad I called ahead / service dept compressor failed
2) walk dog = 3.55 miles around melting ice & snow in 1:01 & happy dog / happy me Fitbit 11,771 steps, 250+ steps 6/14 hours (watched Olympics / dinner w/ hubby) & 24 floors
3) belated Valentine's dinner with hubby & enjoy = Ate at Red Lobster and logged everything, including 2 cheddar biscuits and dessert we shared. Totally worth it! Fortunately, I ate late breakfast, snack after dog walk, and no lunch, so that limited the damage of dinner. In the past, I would've eaten lunch too (oh my!), plus ordered an adult beverage. RED numbers: net calories -1,138 (ack!) / sodium -2,011 (double ack!!!) / sugar -11. Fiber so-so, protein excellent & 12c water (not counting iced tea unsweet).
4) floss / retainers
JFT Sun. 2/25 - Rain & sleet last night made roads ice rinks once again. Couldn't get my car up driveway and into garage after church this morning. Plus wind advisory until 3p.m. with gusts up to 40-50 mph. So no dog walk today. Sad dog & sad me.
1) Bible class / church
2) Treadmill
3) Net calories green / >12c water to flush sodium
4) At least 1-2 items on to-do list
5) Unplug 9:00 / floss / retainers / bed & TV off 10:15 (treadmill M a.m. before work)
@toaljasa Love your reference to The Music Man!
@saragirl2 Thank you! If I can do this, so can you! (((hugs)))5 -
Still no news lol. Getting fed up now and don’t feel like I’m progressing much further than I’ve got.
Still getting mild contractions and my back is so sore. But they check me after 6 hours which is any time from now.
*sigh* 6pm here and I’ve been here since 9.30 so 8 and a half hours ..
Hopefully if I’m dilated at all they will break my waters, then hopefully it will really get things going. Although in previous pregnancies I’ve progressed way further that this (to 8cm) before they had to do it because they simply
Would not go themselves lol!
